Rano LGA of Kano State has banned night courtship (chat between would be couple) across the entire LGA. This was made known by the Chairman of the LGA, Dahiru Muhammad after the weekly LG Council meeting.

He posited that the decision was taken in order to uphold morality and sanitise courtship within the LGA. He therefore urged Hisbah officials in the LGA, to enforce the new law.

On his part, the District Head of the LGA, Alhaji Manniru Tafida Abubakar Ila, urged traditional rulers under his leadership, to ensure that their subjects comply with the new law.

So couple now also get issue chatting when they want
