Please what is the implication of this for the company stock holders
You get a reduction in your holding with them. For every 4 unit of your holdings you get 1 unit.
If you have 100 unit, it will be reduced to 25 after listing but at an higher price.

Normally I expect that if you have 12units it becomes 3units where unit price will then become 4x today's end of market price

I wonder why STANBIC is showing lower revenues across it's businesses (except for the bank in Q2) and still giving out bonuses and doubling dividend. My Ogas please help me solve this puzzle.

If you already have your E-dividend mandated by First Registrar, you should be paid without taking any action....
However, you can send them mail to credit your bank account with your Uniondac pay-off if you don't receive.

They paid today. Thks ...

Anyone who has been in Transcorp for up to 6 months shouldn't sell at this time.Another 6 months won't pass it.

No problem in reconciliation.
After the reconstruction, the total units of your shares will be divided by 4. The cost per unit of the new share to you based on the N0.88 that you bought will now be N3.52 per share that is now having N2 as nominal value instead of former 50kobo.

The opening market price of each new share on the day that the suspension is to be lifted based on yesterday’s closing price of N0.83 will be N3.32 per new share. Thereafter, market forces will determine its trading price going forward.

Do you think transcorp will touch N1 or N1.50kobo one day?

You said one day?
How much was the stock 1-5 yrs ago?
Trascorp has no good news except ughelli power plant when the share price was selling at #5+.There are so much streams of income to the company now than before. The Agric subsidiary news is even on the way. Will hit the market by surprise.
What I am suggesting they should do now is to reconstruct the shares at least 1:1 which will bring the share price to 20B os and eps of 50kobo at year end after reconstructions is enough to drive the stock to almost #10 since it is the leader of power sector.Being a growth stock is also a plus to the stock.

Even without reconstructions, expect Transcorp at #4 though it's not gonna be automatic.

And Mr. Market can wreck havoc. Remember the nightmare of Unity Bank's reconstruction? The price still dropped back to the original N0.50! So you end up with fewer shares at the same price.

C&I hasn't released any good result since they splitted their shares.I am having the feelings mansard will like to take the lead again in the insurance sector.Just a mere saying.

Lol

Unity bank is a bit different though. Unity Bank did capital reduction to wipe off accumulated losses from its balance sheet using the share capital since it was not (and still not) making profit that can be used to write off the losses. The nominal value was not increased from 50k.

Mansard own is a sort of re-denomination to higher nominal value from 50k to N2. The book value of the total share remain the same.
