2. Between the 1999 C180 and C230, which one is the best in terms of inexpensive maintenance? What is the difference between these two?

Buy Benz and enjoy it. If you no like am, sell am buy Corolla back.

Enjoy the moments of life. Just ensure the Benz is in a good condition and you have extra funds for maintenance.

That's particular version of Benz is stronger & waaay cheaper to maintain than the corolla & much more fuel efficient.


Am sorry to say but the corolla is just a glorified cart.....it's simplicity it's what attracts people to it....but that version of Benz beats it hands down & even has a better interior

if you love the Benz especially if it's in top shape then get it. I can vouch that you'll enjoy its driving experience more especially during long journeys. Why I'm not bothered about the year differences between both cars is because I feel if you can afford an '09 corolla now then you can definitely afford a newer version corolla tomorrow in case you get tired of the Benz. Enjoy your purchase bro, we only have one life

Talking about the fuel economy

The 2003/05 C180/C230 kompressor has a combine 16mpg with most of them having a 146hp.

Whereas, the Corolla 2008/09 have a higher fuel economy with 26mpg and 126hp in urban driving.

Though both engines having a 1.8L (though it 2.0L with the 09/10 Corolla) but different horse power and torque reason for the difference in EPA.

Yet I've heard a lot of people say the MB C180 brands still has a better fuel economy. Please how true is this? because I've pondered for some days about the fuel economy comparison of these two brands and its really killing my interest for the C180/230 because my aim is to buy for uber business with a difference.
