the other day, I read it here on NL that each house of rep member is given 100m naira per year for their constituencies. Yet no outrage on a large scale. But let them read that a pastor bought a new jet, built a bigger dome or a University, suddenly the church is to blame for every problem in this country.
Seun Kuti should carry placard to the house of assembly. They are the ones who are elected, by law.
If they don't repent, that hatred will choke them all.

Seun Kuti is quite literally trying to build up a political party to take away power from the current bad leaders and he's been an outspoken activist against their leadership for many years so your points make no sense and yes it is bad for a pastor to buy a private jet if the people going to his church are poor him building a new church or university isn't bad but there's no need for a pastor to own a private jet how do you even defend that?

Voting in the right people is important
But that's just 1 thing.

The people too must be doing the right things at their levels and in whatsoever situations they are.

The responsibility for positive change rests on all, leaders and followers, ruler and the ruled, not only leaders and rulers.

For the most part the people are doing the right thing but what they need now is to find the right leaders to bring back peace and stability to the country

Don't mind them. They will never hold the right people to account. Instead they have found reason not to attend church, or pay their tithes, reasons not to pray, reasons not to believe. grin
These people are funny. Their anger is misplaced, and it's funny.
Like their tithes count. grin The Church of Christ is over 2000 years old and has survived persecution of all sorts, these stones they throw online is nothing.

Can we just focus on the point prayers will not save Nigeria only work will even when the apostles were trying to bring in more people into the church was it prayers that they were doing or did they work to travel to many different cities looked for people to talk to? Only work can deliver progress nothing else

But it is OK to keep quiet when the house of rep for your constituency pockets 400 m naira worth of TAXPAYERS money meant for your constituency in 4 years, right?
Do you pay tax to the church? The church will ALWAYS find funds to get the gospel out whether on horseback or on a high tech private jet. Take note.

Some will still rush to church to pray for forgiveness after the posts. Or if they see a black cat with green eyes at their window.

Who used to cause traffic jams on Sundays? The posters. grin

even the Bible says "faith without works is dead" James 2:20. You can't gainsay the word of God. It is thoroughly balanced.

"... men ought always to pray and not to faint" Like 18:1
We're called to pray ALWAYS, for and in every situation. Telling pastors not to urge their members not to pray, is like telling a farmer not to take a hoe and cutlass to the farm.
Why pastors are often the focus of these people is what I don't understand. How many percent of the Nigerian population are pastors?
Are pastors democratically elected?
What's the army and police meant for then?

grin grin social media is a world on it's own. People say one thing online, do another offline. Its fast becoming a norm to have a dual personality.

True that.
Its like another outrage I noticed post 2015. When folks speaking about government said they were 'hoping' for good governance.

And I was like... gosh. You employ new staff and all you can say is that you are hoping he/she will perform... Who does that nonsense.

You rather make them do your bidding. Force them if they are recalcitrant and fire them if they become impossible. You don't hang around failure like a retard.

Every elected official is on a clock and when thy cannot deliver pronto you place their feet in the fire.

Nigerians are too dull, not knowing how to obtain good governance and ignorantly misinterpreting the holy books.

Seun Kuti attacks those people as well why doesn't the church? And a private jet doesn't help to spread the gospel and it never has.

The problem is all we've done is recycle mediocrity we already saw what Buhari did back then it wasn't even good but we still chose to vote him until we get rid of all past leaders and only allow new technocrats take power we will continue experiencing the same problems in Nigeria so let's all come together and join M.O.P a new party for the people by the people

you see where you get everything wrong? People are carrying AKA47 to kill innocent Christians while pastors are urging them to pray rather than fighting, an average Nigeria Christian thinks when they go on their knees to pray God can shield them from receiving bullets from their enemies, so who are the people that fought wars in the Bible aren’t they Christians too? Ogbeni better pray and pick up your arms and fight until they end up killing everyone in this country one day we will stilll be waiting for God to come down and to fight...heaven help those who help themselves.

Are you aware that this country has military and para military trained and paid to ensure security within and without the country?
Are you also aware that if I am caught in possession of firearms, that would translate into a prison sentence for me?
Or are you trying to be a hypocrite?
