Sorry for your loss (if your story is true). But come to think of it, so you rather blame a people reacting to injustice than to blame the ones that penetrated the injustice?
Had the government not murder people with their jihadist military and police, will we be hearing about sit at home by now? How beat a child and ask him not to cry?
You should learn how to channel the blame right bro. Blame the perpetrators, not the victims. Your government is evil, they must stop killing people like animals.
look at your warped analysis, so when u are misgoverned by the government the next thing is to also frustrate fellow oppressed?
U see people doing business in the east n u stop them, how does that affect buhari?

Do u realise if u sit at home for 5 years,it doesn't affect buhari cos he no send, but those igbo people that took loan to start business n those people who pay loan weekly n daily will suffer the most

Keep sitting at home then. Is it the Yorubas or Hausas that are suffering from it?
Later you would be asking Igbos to invest in the east. How would I bring business to a war zone with military rule? You have made our land unsafe.
Finally, let me ask what is the end game? what do you guys hope to achieve from sitting at home? Oh, you believe the government would come to your houses and give you Biafra?
We Igbos are clearly gifted in business and great intellectuals but when it comes to politics and strategy, we are the worst.

Honestly this thing is paining me like seriously, I spoke with my mum today and she narrated to me how those stupid boys went to a restaurant and wasted the effort of the owner like they used knives to slice the wrapped semovita that the woman want to sell and they carried the cooler of rice and poured it into the cooler of beans and mixed everything together and am sure they also poured away the stew and the soup and this woman is not a fulani ooo but a fellow Igbo for that matter..
I'm in the south east and i have no pity for sentimental people.

Long long long ago, I told everyone nnamdi kalu is a criminal fraud, IPoB are a bunch of lazy, unemployable, craftless thieves and idle loafing criminals.

Who will support sit-at-home when he had a business to do and feed his family?

Now everyone can see how selfish and manipulative these idiots are. Mandela spent decades in prison, did Zulus say they won't go to work and close shop?

Why can't the bianfran movement continue if one man is arrested?

Because it's not about us but about him.

That's the price for disobedience. Ordinary one day you cannot sacrifice as an opressed ndigbo.

Ask nothern traders what they did with goods worth billions of naira when they enforce strike to avenge their fellow slain trader.

The sit at home affect the north through VAT. i dey right abi?

southeast people are not hearing word, sit at home for one day in a week it will not kill you people in the East,

Let us work together as one igbo, one ethics group and one culture

We are tired in this country, animal kingdom, people killing every day like animals.

Southeast people sit at home every Monday, it will not kill you.

Leave them be. They will later come to realise how much of their efforts have been tainted more by bitterness than sense, conscience and strategy. Self-harming strategies don't work with the Nigerian Govt. The Int'l Community support being garnered does not overrule and override the way the average grassroots IPOBian is being told but these small efforts are being recorded and they do have their effect. For instance, I was glad at the Asylum denial status levied on a Nigerian Police officer trying to perfect his stay here recently..I was elated, the world does here us.
But self-harming strategies should be off the table, the direction should always be forward and upward. It is also true that no one seems to notice how much the FG and Nigerian Military has laid siege to the SE, why?
We diasporans cannot speak on how tough it must be in the SE neighbourhoods, only they know that and they've gotta do what's best for them while steering clear of becoming the evils that they initially set out to fight in the first place.

I don't know why some people cry more than the bereaved. I've been in the east for three weeks now and i have noticed that aside from very few elites that complain about this sit at home, majority of the masses obey this order willingly mostly because they're fed up with what they are getting the government. Forget about what the political class are saying, the masses love what they're doing and they are not complaining, so you people should leave them alone.
