The thing is, I was already born and almost in my teens by the time he died, so it couldn't have been reincarnation. Just good ol' genetics.

that isn't true, people do tell me I look like my grandfather, height, vibe, character, talk, skin colour, vouce etc though he died when my father was just 9years old.
