Your first wife is the only one God recognizes as your wife as long as she is still alive and marriage vows are not broken.
But this doesn’t mean the man should not take care of his children with the second wife if they had any before his repentance nor does it mean he should not help the woman if she is in need and he is capable.

The hardship of extreme poor mothers that left their husbands cos they were not the FirstWife......!! The poor conditions of the kids and their mothers....
As usual the man can cope while silently praying for the return of his first wife who is doing well with her now husband and kids sef somewhere unknown to this same man that allowed his wife to leave.

Truth be told, if you’re born and bred in deeper life as I am. You can know what’s wrong and right. You can attend any denomination and know what’s true or wrong. The doctrines are apt, tho I don’t attend the church I once went to for good 21 years but I always find time to attend Monday Bible Studies. Even non church members attend on Mondays
