Mode nine was a lyrical beast and great hard-core rapper but ruggedman was more successful commercially and more popular hands down. Another mistake I noticed in the deathblow song used to diss ruggedman was the fact that he never mentioned the name of the person he was dissing, lyrical giants and greats like 2PAC, NAS, EMINEM, JAY-Z, 50 etc mentioned names of their rivals clearly but mode9 never did that, Coz in one of rugged tracks back then he said if anybody wanna talk or diss him, he should mention names, no descriptions, no subliminal
