That was a weird goal lol. If Osimhen left it alone, the defender might've cleared it. It'll be awkward in the lockeroom. Credits to Insigne for the effort though.

Anyhow, Osimhem goal vs Udinese...

Insigne doesn't want anyone to outshine him including osimehn nor does he passes the ball. Osimehn will score more goals with Ounas behind him

God bless him. Useless insigne should have passed anyways, selfish man.

normally, insigne was supposed to pass that ball for osimhen. Very good it was osimhen goal

It's not really like that. Some players are just more trigger happy than others, Salah is an example.

Look at the example of Mane. This season he is shooting more than ever because he told the media he wants to score 30 this season.

You don't know if Insigne has similar target. I've watched Insigne extensively even at the Euros and he seems to trust his abilities excessively.

If he was selfish or egoistic, I don't think he would be captain under two managers.

He is selfish, but I don't blame him considering he is their all time top scorer, used to being their star man and his numbers back it up. There's a reason why osimehn scores more when ounas is behind him. Ounas is content with Creating chances and allowing osimehn to score while insique wants to score by all means necessary

They're all double marking osimhen, forgetting that other players can score

There's no way a 30-year-old me who has been scoring screamers for over a decade will be looking to pass to a 22-year-old newcomer when I can do it myself.

Ounas is 24 I think.

Yes, I agree but that's the way that we see it. Osimehn has to work twice as hard and he must not miss any chance that he gets. It's the only way that he will reach 20 goals this season

Agreed. When his teammates begin to trust his abilities, he wouldn't need to request a pass before he gets it.

Feisty game from Osimhen. Insane work rate.

Needs to work on his:

FIRST TOUCH/BALL CONTROL.

Staying on his feet. Defenders like strikers who go down easily, while referees tend to stereotype them.

Movement. This is the most important. Napoli really bossed this game, but Osimhen made the mistake of camping in Juventus' penalty box.

Once in a while, good strikers should either drift to the wings or drop deep, then take one-two touches and return to the box. This causes either the defender to lose their man or get drawn out of position.

Also this allows his teammates to notice him and monitor his runs.
As little work rate as Onuachu offers, he drops deep quite regularly for this reason. Osimhen is too mobile to be camping.

Terrific game, nonetheless. Against Juventus. His confidence will return.

Osimhen ticked all the right boxes in that game.

Good concentration.
Became an outlet and target for his team when they sat back.
Good close control. The best I've seen of him.
Good first touch.

In my opinion, his most complete performance since moving to Napoli despite the scrappy goal.

Yes I did. That might be his best game, but definitely not a complete performance.

In tonight's game, he had no deficiency.

I highly disagree. His last game was his best and most complete performance that I have seen from osimehn. In fact, he reminded me of a young drogba
