He didn't give them your number, they harvest his entire phone book when he took the loans. The creditors send these messages to all his contacts.

So if I take loan of 50k,get a new sim and guess 30 contacts on the phone and save ,and out of those 30,maybe only two numbers exist in reality,how will they get company now get paid. U see why credit can never work in nigeria.

the truth is how will you borrow money to people who are only surviving, they don't fucking care about credit score or the future, they are hungry

That's why the name and shame is necessary. Most Nigerians who take these loans do without intentions or means of paying back or how else are they suppose to get their money back asides blacklisting BVN. They also need to pay their workers who recover these debts amongst other expenses.

They should probably leave this service to banks.

And, he is not my friend to begin with. We lived together in a school hostel room some fvcking 16 years ago! The dude should delete my contact on his device.
There are many like him here, and I hope you are not one of them. They don't even have an atom of regret.

Don't mind them, if you Knew what these people are doing, you will pity those loan companies. Imagine each individuals bragging about collecting loans from about 15 different loan companies! If that's not wickedness, I don't know what it is

No, not at all. The thread below made me uncomfortable with the kind of criminals Nigerians are becoming. The incessant and frequent sms texts from different loan apps to my number capped it all. We've got to change our criminal mindset and stop hurting others financially.
