Good name. Santa Ana is not that viable. Yet to see sales here from that city since 2017!

I have stop registering name from that city. Negative reply I get from the end users I have on that name, since I registered it.

Sapiosexuality:
Do you get responses from your Outbound to begin with?

I do get responses. The good, the bad, and the ugly. You can check the attachment.

Sapiosexuality:
you'd be disturbing people who willingly reached out seems to suggest you are soft on this business.

It seems I am too soft. I don't usually feel like continue outbounding on a name after 7 follow ups.

Sapiosexuality:
Maybe you are earning big in some other venture or so or maybe he's been supportive. I can't tell.

Though I have other online business that brings passive income but not as high domain name business can give at present.

Sapiosexuality:
Seems you are a soft domainer aka part time domainer.

I do it on part time basis, I am a writer for two different blogs and earn the amount that can keep food in the stomach for a while.

I took you comment with a pinch of salt when I first saw it. I said never it's not possible, I sent series of out bounds on those names and later let them dropped and expired. I checked, alas!!! One of the names was sold.

I was sad at first because I wish I was the one who sold the name. But I have come to realise that I still have what it takes to choose a domain name which has possibility of being sold ( I got all the names from ED).

Perhaps, I need to be more patience and keep out bounding till the last day the name will drop (I gave up after first 5 follow ups). I need to work on my believe system and take this business more serious than ever if I want to make it in this business.

soliufiljannah thanks for opening my eyes to this, you rekindle the fire in me to keep pushing. I believe I shall report my first sales soon.

Also, thanks to those of you reaching out to me U1, AwesomeDuru, Bonsujk, SlimJosh, sapiosexuality etc. Don't see my refusal to respond to you as a form of arrogance, I know you guys have things to attend to and I don't want to add mine to them. Thanks much appreciated. One love (my bf must not see this cheesy cheesy)

I do check his blog from time to time for inspiration and latest trick. In fact, I found his latest blog post insightful. It's all about avoiding similar names other geo domainers have registered. It's worth reading by everyone.

Most names are sold at 2nd to 3rd reoutbound. You reoutbound to the same set of leads again. Maybe with a 2months interval. A lead that didnt respond earlier may just pick it up. Nt just 7follow ups back to back. Abi wetin i knw

So many exact match domains, to him, diminishes the value. It seems the enduser will prefer the existence of just one variant of the name.

Instead of AustinCoffeeShop, CoffeeShopAustin, AustinTXCoffeeShop, etc., he just wants AustinCoffeeShop to be the only one available. He's asking for the impossible.

In that case, SV can be used as an argument. If it has the most SV, that can buy the enduser.

What's the space interval of 2 months for, so it won't look like spamming right?

I started with 3names. Did more dan 10follow ups on the 3. Mainly bcus i had no money to add to my portfolio. Later i added one more. Did upto 7follow ups no show. All these within 3½ months. I kept doing follow up. Then added anoda1, and sales started from there. So, keep following up on those names till you are able to buy a new name. From those follow ups, you will learn a lot.

SALES ALERT
Get//Initiated//king
Brokered sale
SP: $1000
Sale Venue: Dan
Outbounded and sold with 4 hours.

I feel like I should share the story behind this sale. Someone might a thing or two from it.
So I am on my laptop, sending mails to end-users make them buy my domains, as usual. And then someone (in Canada) I contacted via their website contact form responds, (please don't joke with website contact forms, especially if you don't see any emails) He says He is not interested in domain name but he has a domain name he wants to sell, asking me if i would be interested in marketing it for him, and I respond saying yes.

Then he gives me a background story of how he had a company, and his best friend and personal assistant leaves his company along with a few of his best staff to go open his own company. And then he ends up closing his own company. Out of anger and spite, he sees that this "friend" has bought the .ca of his company name and so as revenge he goes to buy the .com domain. So after holding it for a few months or a year i think, he decides he wants to let it go.

So I request for the name of the domain, and also tell him that whatever we sell it for, we split 50/50 which he gladly agrees. So I set to work, with only one end-user in mind (his "friend"wink. I send him a mail as usual, and he responds that he would be interested but only ready to pay $500. I start my negotiation from $2,988 after a lengthy negotiation battle, we settle for $1000. He pays a few minutes later. My canadian friend now gets skeptical about transferring out the domain because he thinks I might scam him. He begins to question me, and I let him know from the onset that I'm a Nigerian. This creates some doubt in his mind. But after a few exchange of words and even pictures (Yes, I sent him my picture of myself and my wife), He decides to take the risk of trusting me.

He transfers the domain as Dan has instructed and within 2 hours the money lands in my bitcoin wallet. Now I am not able to send him his share that same day. Am sure this must have caused him sleepless night cos he kept firing mails at me asking when he will get the funds.

Well, first thing the next day, I transferred his share of the money to him and as soon as he sees it, he is so elated and he responds with the message in the picture below and even promises to assist me whenever I am ready to relocate to Canada (Yes, I told him I have plans on relocating to Canada).

Oh, And he later reconciled with that "Friend" of his after the transaction, which He also thanked me for, for helping him overcome the bitterness he had for his friend.

So sorry for the extra long epistle. I just felt I should share.

Tip: when you ask someone you think is making sales in this business, don't just ask "how you de do am" and not expect him to say "na God oo".. don't be angry when u get such response.
Instead, ask constructive questions, questions that could give u a working plan when u link everything up.. questions like;;

*When is the best time to work, morning, evening or night U.S time
*What is your favourite city or niche in terms of sale
*What do u think of so so name
*Your most converting lead source
Etc

So many questions that when u add them up and ask different people's experience, u might come up with a working strategy for urself

101%

Ask direct questions, Domaining is wide ooo

Hire//VEs
SP: $100
Sale Venue: Dan
Outbound

Short story about the Hire//VAs sale
I picked the domain name from ED few months ago. I submitted it to SquadHelp but it was rejected. I now listed it on Dan for 900 bucks. Just recently, I decided to even check the related business that might be interested in taking the domain name. So I got few companies and I did the outreach. The first reply was negative and the second company asked for the price. Before I could reply the second company, a lot of thoughts were already on my mind. One mind was telling me to give him blank check, one was telling me to tell him 10k, another was telling me 5k and the last thought 1k, I know that was from the poverty mentality. So I summoned courage and told him 5k and he bought it that same day.

After that sale, I discovered that some companies are using Virtual Employees so I registered Hire//VEs and I did the outbound but nobody replied. I later pitched it to the previous man and he lectured me that VEs is not a powerful keyword unlike VAs, but he said he would take it for 100 bucks and he did just that.

Although I'm still a newbie here, but let's try and be giving our domains better prices like our colleagues in tier 1 countries. If it's a very powerful domain, good number of these end users would be happy to buy.

Small giveaway for 10 domainers here. Please guys nominate who would handle the giveaway.

I wish each and everyone of us a prosperous October. Happy New Month.
