Hello people, I have some concerns about my relationship. The thing is I'm the type that don't get angry easily, I don't complain until there are re-occurence, I hardly accepts things the way they are easily because of the way I perceived things should be (personal opinion). I don't mind if I don't get a birthday gift or message from my partner and also I hardly wish people happy birthday. The word I LOVE YOU doesn't move me like that because I believe the word has been used to deceive alot of people. Although I use it once in a while just to show affection and all but I still believe love is from within. When I give out a gift, I don't care whether the person use it or not because I have the feeling I've fulfilled my heart desires and when I receive gift, I just don't want the giver to disturb me about the gift. The last one is posting of pictures on social media. I post funny things once in a blue moon but my own personal pictures i can go 2 months without showing my face because it's not just my thing. I have the belief that showcasing one's self on social media should be for commercial purposes which is mainly for the populars.

My main issue now is that all these listed points are affecting my relationship as my partner takes all of the things serious as they are part of what makes her happy.
I've been trying to adjust but it seems so hard for me.
Please any advice.

I think if you both are transparent and have common understanding in the relationship all these won't be an issue, please be calm and talk to her about it. Its part of your character and she have to know that and adapt to it that's if it's not your cheating strategy, give her the reason to believe you She'll adjust.

personally if I'm in a relationship with anyone I keep it to myself, I keep anything I value private.

Thanks. I don't cheat and I don't plan to. I do post her pictures once in awhile but I get pissed when there is a complaint about me not posting her pictures.

Well I’m someone like this too but I make up for it in other places so as not to be too weird or boring

As for the pictures, you can post her after blocking the rest of your contacts.
A simple 2-line happy birthday wish shouldn't be a problem. Just copy and paste from online birthday wishes if you are too uninspired to smith words on your own.
