I happens to be a Muslim too before my conversion to Jehovah's Witnesses so i know the tenets in Islam.
Your child can ask you a question, and you can also ask your cleric. What is forbidden is rhetorical questions in the public which is not meant to serve as a means to learn but to ridicule Islam publicly!

What i am saying is asking yourself questions as to why you believe in your parents religion!

the fact that a religion was passed on, is more reason why people really need to ask certain questions like, if i was born in rome would i be a muslim, or if i was born in afgahnistan would i be a christain?
the way muslim discriminate against people is apalling, like xalling people infidels and the rest, you could see that in pantamis audio..


there is so much hatred in islam.
as a christain if you become a muslim in the south, the perscution you do face cannot be compared to what you would face if there is a switch, you could be killed, excommunicated from your village.
i know people that cant go back to their villages in the core north ..why?
they became christains.

The 72 virgins, the beautiful home and promises alike are for the faithful who do good deeds and enjoined peace, truthfulness, patience and perseverance amongst humanity. The promises were not for intolerant unrepentant killers in the name of Jihad or whatever reason it maybe as we see all around us...

Islam truly does not make any sense , it is purely a cult.

For example , why worshiping a god that does not consider your good or bad deeds before determining to cast anyone to hell?

@bold That would still be term as rhetorical question. So far the question is religion-centric.

Now, the qn verse up there still maintains it meaning "do not ask questions". You or tafir calls it rhetorical question but we call it "question" just like the qn itself calls it. You asked yourself the same questions the verse implores you not to ask and led you to abandoned Islam for JW. That's the reason the qn gives in verse 102( not to leave religion). There were no rhetorical questions in what made the people in verse 102 to leave islam(religion) other than coming in contact with the truth found in the answers supplied to the questions being asked. No one leaves a religion like that if there were no concrete reasons. The same applied to your situation.

I find no reason to believe in any religion. Islam is a reiteration of the Jewish religion which is decidedly quite violent, it presents more reason not to believe.

I disagree that Islam is a more violent religion compared with Judaism and Christianity. As a matter of fact, the God of the old testament and that portrayed in the Quran have similar modus operandi ( a no nonsense,no bullshiting, short tempered, vindictive, jealous and spur of the moment kinda God who punishes transgressions of his people as soon as they are committed), except that the former is pro Israel and the latter pro Arabia.

The god of Christianity, on the other hand is a more temperate, slow to anger and action kinda deity. I find it hard wrapping my head around how christians consider this God to be the exact same one in the old testament! They say the god is unchangeable but its crystal that the god of the new testament, if he's same as that of the old, clearly changed. It's like he repented and became "born again"!

No It's 72 virgins and that's paradise don't take it lightly. Did you also know that the men also get mansions made of pearl and they have slaves to beckon to 24/7.

I still don't know what they have for women though considering the men are promised freshly created beautiful women with big eyes and big breasts. I guess paradise wasn't made for the women on earth.

The irony of life and some people will still defend this lunacy.
