Yeah for some others as you said not everyone , how can home be home when my background doesn't want my progress, how can home be home when my uncle killed my parents and left my little siblings for me to train them up my self without anyone helping at my age,and you expect me to tell my children they are from such family oh no not this generation anymore welcome to the 21st century where one can travel to any part of the world and dominate and relate to Thier culture and be welcome this time we make new home for our self I can't come and die in the name of home is home , a background with no one gradute a background with hate and envy no this time I reject it and I don't have time to change them because they are not ready to change.

Now I decided to move on to any part of the world and I'll be welcome and I'll get married over there and give my children a better family and relation ,family is not all about blood the earlier you know the better for you thank you smiley

Except one is from a dysfunctional family, there's no time home is not home. Those from dysfunctional families can afford to stay far away from 'home' because they don't have a home in the first place.

All the folks I know who stay for years turning into decades overseas do so because they are from dysfunctional families here at home and one mistake they make is that they think their foreign hosts don't know. They know wink.

You can't come from a good family and unwittingly or wittingly stay overseas for years. It's not because Nigeria is not yet paradise, it's because you're from a dysfunctional families here in Nigeria. Running won't stop it except you want your children to run away from you too in the future. Build a functional home where ever you are, especially here in Nigeria so you don't raise a generation of second class citizens abroad.

It's the negative mindset some folks have towards this land that is their major problem. You can't keep cursing the land and expect it to release its blessings to you. If you go overseas with same negativity, same thing will happen. So for many others, home is still home sir.

* Not easy to move from Ukraine to other European countries, although, it is possible with money and the right documents. But how do you get this money when there is no work and you are not even allowed to work.

Please, avoid Ukraine except your papa get money if not, as you ball in, you go still reason to ball back to Naija back.

Hello, Thank you so much for sharing your truth, I hope people learn from your experience. I have a friend who lives in Ukraine currently and would like to move to Poland from there, do you know how best he can go about this? Would be anticipating your response. Thank you.

What is Holland?
You are part of the bandwagon, Holland was never the official name of the Netherlands.
Call it Netherlands instead except you are specific about the provinces (North and South Holland)
No vex.. I meant Netherlands

And despite all of this you will never see a Ukrainian man insulting his country on the internet. If not because of you I would have never imagined Ukraine to be this bad.
Naija is not good but is not the worst country in the world.
Go to Reddit and you will see Ukrainians insulting their country.
You don’t speak Russian or Ukrainian, how will you know? Do you have Ukrainian as a friend?

why didn't you go to Poland direct, I believe there small small jobs there

There are lots of jobs in Poland. If you make it to Poland, you can visit schengen countries and work for 3 months, make something huge then return.

Poland was about to cast in Nigeria that was why I didn't apply there.

He can. He should, first of all, get admission from his preferred University in Poland, then proceed to the embassy in Kyiv, seek the right documents then submit.

Poland embassy doesn't interview, if his documents reach the requirements which I believe is not hard to get, his visa would be approved.

North Cyprus is not a good place to be as a student. If you want to travel, move to Southern Cyprus. North Cyprus and Ukraine are almost the same.

North Cyprus is under Turkish control, Turkish way still dey struggle to be part of the EU.

Read again and again and again ....you said "Ukraine is the poorest country in Europe" ...end of quote.

But Ukraine is an industrial power to reckon with....they built the largest plane in the world "AN -225 Mriya" and they have a large arms industry ,sold to China its 1st Aircraft carrier and they've exported fighter tanks to many countries. They also have a large homegrown car industry....this country won't stay poor for long is what i'm trying to say.

Corrected. I thought I wrote 'the 2nd,' that is why I never bothered to recheck.

Ukraine will remain like this, no doubt. The country is heavily corrupt.

You too look at the countries you are mentioning, Dubai, Cyprus etc. Those countries are shithole.
Edited: My bad for naming Dubai shithole, but remember that the UAE is very ambivalent about Nigerians. So I won't advice traveling there except if conditions are right.
.
With the way things are trajecting in this country, home is not home for some people like me.
My Uncle at Fakale ran away from his house because of stupid herdsmen, and you are telling me home is home. If you lose your job today, will the government care about you? What if you are sick, will anybody give a damn? Go to General Hospital and look at the system there, it is shit.
If Nigeria plays you well, fine for you, but some of us are going through tough times in this country.
You must be talking about North cyprus not the southern part though

In your opinion, Nigerians abroad are from ''dysfunctional families''. I bow to your superior wisdom and intellect. No point probing the reasoning behind such an opinion any further.
