These are his threads on nairaland.
So I contacted this guy to teach me SEO because I saw his thread and my niche blog has been doing poorly. After our conversations he said the clas is 13k and in 10 days, I would become good in SEO. We set a date and after a few set backs he started the class. For 13k, he was introducing basic on page seo and upselling his link building course so I wasn't happy.

I reached out to him and told him that this wasn't what I expected. He said if I wanted a more advanced training then I should take the link building class which is 16k. I agreed and completed the money to take the class. He did promise that the class was 40 minutes. I should've seen the red flag. Who learns link building in 40 minutes.

After a couple of setbacks we finally agreed to have the class this morning and he told me in his words ' I have remodelled the tutorial into a full pack' and I agreed o and asked him to send it. Honestly, I was expecting videos and PDF files only for him to send me 13 power point slides in pdf. Which means that one slide is 1k.

I told him I wasn't going to take this from him and in the midst of all brouhaha, he sent his Upwork profile. Baba has only done 3 jobs on Upwork. I'll attach his profile here cos I know People will find him.
IamNumeroUno come here to extort people all in the name of teaching Upwork. I have attached his photo, the PDF and his bank details

Here's the guide

Re: Iamnumerouno Is A Fraud by manfred10(m): 12:02pm On Oct 19, 2021
So how did he actually scam you?
How is he to know what and what you had already know in SEO?
After he has taught you SEO he still converted your money to Backlinks building training money.
You are not the one to determine how long or short a tutorial note should be. Moreover he still opted to refund your money and you refused .
I think you are just blowing hot air where non is needed
Re: Iamnumerouno Is A Fraud by Morningstarrr(m): 12:05pm On Oct 19, 2021
@OP, did you and the accused agreed on a particular model/format that the tutorial should be delivered?
Re: Iamnumerouno Is A Fraud by IamNumeroUno: 12:22pm On Oct 19, 2021
Hi there, I am the person being referred to here.

First of all, I want to commend everybody that has taken time to join my training. It is not easy to make such decision, and as such, I don't bear any grudge with the OP, he has the right to complain, if he feels he has not received the best service he paid for.

Criticism is part of business and this means a lot to me. No single venture has no negative reviews, even Google play services have negative reviews on the same Google Play Store.

Now to the topic:

1. That I have grossed over $19,000 from only four jobs on Upwork proofs that I am very good at what I do. There are people who have managed over 1000 jobs, yet struggling to make $10k. I am good, therefore, I am very expensive. I recieve jobs invitations everyday, but I turn them down because I currently have a $9,690 job on Upwork which the OP has deliberately ignored. If I earned so much from so little jobs, it shows how good I am. My Upwork job success score is 100%. Those who know the meaning will understand.

2. My training is $30, equivalent of N12,300 as at the time of your payment. And the OP paid N12,300 not N13k as alleged here.

3. The OP made payment 30-09-2021. I was practically chasing him around to take the training. I will post screenshots of my communication with him from top to bottom.
When he finally agreed to start, he came just 50 Minutes to the end of the session as agreed by the both of us. The next day, he cam 15 minutes to the end.

I told the OP to find an appropriate time for the training and stop fluctuating. The next time he showed up, I already had two trainees, so I added him to the group. In-betwen the session, he texted me that he already knew all those things. That was after collecting my course outline two days before. He saw the outline, approved it and had taken a full two days lesson privately before joining the group, though the sessions didn't last, as such we didn't cover much before he joined the group and that's entirely his fault, which he admitted.

After obtaining my course outline which detailed everything to learn, two days later, he said he knew everything I was teaching therefore, he was no longer interested. I responded by telling him that he was trying to stir trouble where there was none. Truly, that was his plan. I told him I would either refund him or he could upgrade the training to a different one, since he said he already knew the first training he paid for. Immediately he chose the option of upgrading instead of a refund. Five days later, he sent N3k to add to the initial N12,300 he paid, making it N15,300. The Backlinks Building training cost N15k, the OP paid N15,300 total I stead of the N16k he is alleging to have paid.

He completed that payment on the 7th of October and didn't turn up for the training till today, 19th of October. I had told him that this session is very short, 40 minutes precisely. After giving him the material to study and get back to me with questions, he returned with accusations that he was expecting a 70+ pages document and all what not. That I scammed him and was threatening to create this thread which he did.

I supported him to create the thread. He asked for links ks to my previous threads so he could reference. I sent both links to him, sent him my Upwork profile and added that I have nothing to hide. I still maintain, I have no bad intentions.

It may interest you all to know that more than 15 of my trainees are currently undertaking their internship with an Indian company, courtesy of me. Most are already recieving responses on Upwork.

I would have comfortably refunded him, even after the two trainings, but he instead felt that calling me out is most rewarding.

I know that this thread will end up as an advertisement for me.

I have not done anything wrong, God sees my heart. My intentions to help guys, are genuine.

I am truly sorry that you felt let down by my method of impacting short and summarised lessons, instead of the traditional long and boring method. We should have handled this differently, but we were are here now.

I have attached screenshots of my communication with the OP.

OP it is wrong to come out to try and tarnish someone's image because they refused to do what you feel they should. Life thrives on negotiations. This guy thought me SEO and many others at the same time and also fixed us up for internship which was not part of what we paid for. Infact he still attends to questions from me whenever I get to any cross roads. In the good thing is that if you chat him up it takes him a maximum of 1 hour to answer you.
Please take it easy and try to learn and also forge relationships. It will benefit you in the long run

I tried to understand your reason for doing this but I just didn't get it. You paid for training and what you expected was not what you got and you didn't even calm down for a refund or work things out but instead, you took power bike to nairaland to create thread. It looks like you have this motive right from the onset.

It's obvious you're aren't the patient type. Maybe it's the exact reason your blog is behaving poorly. You want to learn SEO right? And you want to rank on Google? Then you shouldn't worry, Google itself will humble you. That patience you go get am by force.

40mins backlink a red flag? Alaye, SEO Course on HubSpot is just 1hr. The link building section is just 24mins and that one is to be called what oo brother? Yellow flag? Lol. Tho I didn't blame you sha, IamNumeroUno might have thought you will be smart enough to grab it under that timeframe but I guess the concept wasn't for you.

The 13pages ebook for link building is too small, discard it let me give you one of 400+ pages from Search Engine Journal then let's see if you can even read past the first 30 pages before getting tired.

I don't have a problem with you not being okay or not getting what you expected from the training you paid for, and yes you're 100% right to ask for a refund but creating a thread with his details when he didn't object to refunding you is a clear sign that you have this ulterior motive from the onset. You wouldn't have taken this lightly if you were in his shoes.

Clearly the Op wasn't sincere enough to learn, and his blog may never do better, because he has chosen a path against knowledge. The accuse clearly have a good track record here and even your chat with him shows he is a good person, always pursuing you to come take classes. But you have a motive from the start.

What were you even expecting from the start?
Did you paint your expectations to your teacher. And why didn't you take a refund when he suggested that. But you do rather think you are wise. Getting value, but claiming to already know all before. If you have know all before, why was your blog doing poorly.

You have forgotten that nothing matches the experience and skill of a teacher who have a great result. Please go and settle your stuff with the accuse offline and take this thread off, as it lacks credence

Topics like this can be so damaging to the reputation of hard working people just by gleaning the headline or reading your post which I did, and in my part mind I concluded Iamnumerouno "maybe" scammed you until I heard a rebuttal.
But then I see this is all your fault Mr op, when he gave you the option of refund why didn't you take it? How can you then call him a scammer? I have the belief you are this type of person always chasing dreams, looking for the golden goose, buying all types of courses without taking action. Given that you "may"have had initial knowledge of what Iamnumerouno was giving out, then why didn't you still take the refund? You kept on chasing the golden goose. With this attitude you got, trust me, you'll never make it online genuinely and in respect.
After seeing your conversations it was very wicked and ingenuous of you to create this thread, and i think outright stupid. Trust me, I hate scammers but I hate fake wailers even more.

Mynd44 can you come close this thread so this unjust judgement doesn't go on to tarnish a legit internet marketers name?
