GEJ was vice president for 2 years and President for 6years. Crude gains was at highest in the records of earnings. What did he the vegetable do for his region?! Mismanagement, curruption, abuse of office was the order of the day.

Buhari is no better anyway.

RIP
My sympathy to the families.
Leaders failed you!

how is it GEJ fault that people are committing dangerous crime rhat is destroying their environment, lives and polluting the air in PHC and environment.
if you know Rivers, you will know that the indigenes do not like to work but prefer collecting free momey from companies and businesses in the name of community.
they won't start business but will ensure that businesses are killed by extortion and sometimes, stealing.
they want to make millions over night without much sweat.
they prefer bunkery to any legit work prefering to have money to drink and carry woman every single day of the week.
someone was lying here that the environmental pollution is caused by flaring from refineries that are not operational.
they have destroyed the air in port Harcourt such that you can't even walk bare footed in your room without black sook deposit.
unfortunately, lives are lost but that is usua6 the end of such practices.

This has nothing to do with multinationals, you guys digged your own graves. When we were complaining about black soot, nobody complained because you guys were cashing out from illegal refining

The Multinational companies did not live up to their responsibilities is the reason for Illegal Refinery?

Nigerians we are so wired to the wrong blame games.

May their souls find rest embarassed

You promised your sister school fees, but when it's time to pay, you're no where to be found. If she doesn't pay, she won't write exams.

Don't you think running away from your "supposed responsibility" could push her into sleeping with a rich man to get the money?

Do you mind them, we have been complaining about black soot, and these communities have been cashing out to the detriment of the public. Was it iocs that asked them to vandalise their pipelines and set up illegal refinery?

Quite unfortunate. But do I pity them? NO! They are well aware of what they were doing. These are the people messing up the environment and causing unnecessary health hazards to the people of rivers and its environs. Everywhere you go now it's black soot. You wake up in the morning and everywhere in your house is black like charcoal, curtains, cloths, floor. Or is it the fumes from the crude taking over the whole place or the daylight turned to night by smoke!

We cannot continue to blame everything on the IOCs. They should go and question their community leaders eating the funds meant for the development of their communities.

PS: got a video of the fumes these guys expel into the environment but it's too large to attach.

Niger Delta State Governments should go into the Crude refining business. Same with the local governments. This will create massive employment and boost the States Internal Generated Revenue.

Illegal bunkering should serve as a key for the direction of the region.

The flyovers will not boost the economy and create jobs.

The idiotic spokes person blames the IOC for the tragedy that had been waiting to happen... from the way that man had spoken it is obvious he is a beneficiary of the illegal refineries in that axis.

Rumuekpe that is a well known agrarian community have virtually abandoned their farms for get rich quick oil bunkery and illegal refining of stolen crude.

These are thesame people responsible for the soot terrorizing Port Harcourt.

U just needed to put that buhari is no way better so it will be like u are not one of the BMCs...
Continue in being stupid.
During GEJ era, we expected jonathan to be acting likr our councillors, chairmen's, governors, state house members, representatives and senators out his original president portfolio.
We wanted him to be the police that secures our streets, the army that quell any insurrections and the judge that will be fair to all.
States couldn't pay salaries, we all queried gej meanwhile they were receiving theirmonthly allocations as at when due, fire enter market for isolo, we all abuse gej for not responding, still remember when one bank was robbed a day after gej visited Lagos, Double Agent fashola blamed gej, that all the police officers in lagos were with him.
Girls were abducted in chibok, we blamed gej, meanwhile order was given for all schools in insurgent prone communities to shutdown and relocate all students to safer communities.. Nobody blamed the governor for flouting that order, we blamed gej for the abduction.
Under buhari, everything that we blamed gej for not being proactive and responsive happened, we remember there is a chairman in the local govt the issue happened.
Lai mohammed now said all crimes r local, and the local council chairmen should deal with crimes associated with abduction of school students.
Buhari sent back govrs of oyo and ondo back to go deal with criminal bandits who were attacking agrarian communities in those states, saying those crimes r under their purview to act on.

So many things to say but space no gree...

Gej was suppose to represent the people of emohua in the state assembly and fed house and voice their issues to the state and fed govt.

The duty of govt is protection of lives and properties of citizens, welfare and economic development of the country.
Under jonathan the people of emohua were economically viable so there was no need to engage in illegal ventures to make ends meet, the security and economic activities in emohua was at par with other political cities in the country, so crimes and illegal mining and refining of crude oil by indigents wasnt rife...
Next time if u want point fingers and start blame games, know ur constitution and how govt operates in ur country

Report to who please?

Police, military, civil defence? They have all been compromised. Take a trip between port Harcourt and mbiama in the morning between 7 - 10... you'll catch a glimpse of the rot
