No coach will overrate his player for no reason. If so Klopp would have said Salah was better than Messi years ago. He actually believes it in his heart that is why he said it and he also knows it won't get the player carried away. U have to be sure about both things before u make such statements.
osimehn his is player and it normal he will rate him high and same thing Mauricio Pochettino or even this same spalleti will say if he was coaching mbappe. Messi and Salah is a no brainer because they aren't in Same class but mbappe and osimehn are both in same class even thou mbappe may be one of the front runner in the class wink

We have loads of Nigerians doing well in Europe and other continents. Dennis scored a beautiful goal yesterday and inspired watford to a surprise win against an Everton side coached by Benitez and the osimhen bandwagons acted like nothing happened

I guess they are all praying fervently for osimhen to outshine the likes of Awoniyi, dennis, okereke and others that had a great weekend.

Bad news is, spaletti has never won against mourinho and mou has never lost a home game in serie A.
This is not it bro. Don't let the fact that people love Osimhen here push you over the edge to the extent of wishing his club does not win.

His victories are our victories.

Dennis will be an upgrade to the current super eagles than musa. Heard he is not in rohr good books because of attitude issues in camp

I still wonder why musa gets invitation to SE games.

Rooney is the second most capped English player (120 games) 5 behind Shilton before he retired. England FA didn't try to make rooney the most capped player. He retired peacefully.

Only in nigeria.

No. We need to look inwards and raise more Osimhen's, Chuks, Nachos and Ejukes. We should revive the age grade
and grassroot football.

Looking inwards shouldn't stop u from recruiting foreign born players. The north africa countries are doing both

If you're a smart business man u must diverse multiple streams or source of income and the fact that one is working shouldnt stop u from exploring other venture rather u harness both to your advantage

That is neither here or there. That is like saying because Luis Figo went to Madrid Messi would do the same thing. Victor would feel like he is turning his back on the fans who will let him feel it if he ever tried such. Did u not see how Higuain was treated with his legacy tarnished? Victor is not that type of guy.

But why are you so hell bent on this recruiting foreign born players agenda??

Let the NFF channel more funds and efforts into improving our football here...The foreign born will always be available for grab... It is up to them to declare interest in playing for us,not the other way around..

You are trying to imply that there's a dearth of football talents in the country and we should turn to abroad for help, which is simply not true...

Sanusi was amazing today even though he didn't play the full game. We have the midfield to compete with any African team.
A midfield of Ndidi/Onyeka, Aribo/Etebo/Micheal and Iwobi/Iheanacho can match any team on the continent. Balogun/Awaziem, Ekong/Apokguma/Omeruo, Collins/Bassey/Sanusi, Aina/Ebeuhi. Ejuke/Dennis/Simon, Chuks/Kalu. Oshimen/Onachu/Awoniyi.
Those not invited yet: Sadiq/Desser/Ugbo/Okereke/Simy.
I don't see a better team on the continent, maybe a better coach but definitely not a better team.
Olise plays the same role as Aribo at club level. Aribo is a better player!

I will rather prefer Raphael Onyedika (a 20yr old defensive midfielder) in central midfield than the trio you listed.
He has more to offer

Onyeka too can play that role. However, it is disrespectful comparing Aribo/Etebo/Micheal to a guy playing in one obscure league. Aribo is playing right now, you can tune in! Nevertheless, Onyedika, Issaq, Amoo, and Nwakali will be a good addition. The bottom line is we have the players to compete!

lol Everyone here has a favorite player but it's unfair to say people here deliberately don't celebrate other players doing well.

Sadiq Umar who plays in Spanish second division gets a mention from time to time when he scores. Stephen Odey who anyone barely remembers gets a mention same with dele bashiru and ejaria that play in the english championship.

If people choose to hype osimhen to high heavens let them be it's their prerogative. even italian football experts and journalists are hyping victor it's a normal circle in football.

If you want to hype or celebrate another nigerian player please do I for one won't begrudge you.

Ask Osimhen's hypemen.
