Whats been done is very necessary. The police is being proactive and aiming to contain any security breach that might arise before, during or after the elections.

If only 100 people come out to vote in the whole of Anambra, they alone determine the next Governor. Happily the Nigerian election laws does not use the percentage of registered voters in determining election outcome, it only uses number of voters that came out to vote.
And if Anambra people don't come out to vote, they have delivered automatic victory to APC that needs to take over Anambra through Andy Uba through whom Buhari intends to use to fight IPOB in Anambra. That is the game plan

My guy, let me assure you that Anambra will be as calm as the sea. Nothing will happen. People interested will vote in peace and move. The army, NSCDC, DSS, and everyone else will also deploy personnel there. IPOB should be ready to kill them all or let the Anambra people elect their leaders.

Kudos to the IGP and his team. No ragtag group should be allowed to challenge the democratic order in Nigeria to the extent of threatening the smooth conduct of an election, it is unheard of. IPOB and its criminal members over to you, this is a challenge the security agents.
If Anambra election goes on as planned despite IPOB misyarns of no election, then IPOB is weak and should never be obeyed by anyone.

So, what if there still happened to be disruptions and deaths (which I really don't pray for) and then an inconclusive Election in the end, what would you say??

What I am about to tell you now may prove to be the most important information you may ever receive in your life.

Never ever under any circumstances allow yourself to be kidnapped.

• Deploys DIG Joseph Egbunike to Anambra as Coordinating DIG Election Duties..

The Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc (+), NPM, fdc has ordered a major overhauling of the security landscape in Anambra State ahead of the 6th November, 2021 Gubernatorial Elections in the State. The overhauling includes the deployment of selected seasoned Strategic Commanders from the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police and above to Anambra State for effective supervision of security personnel and operations in the Elections. The IGP noted that Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Joseph Egbunike has been deployed to Anambra State as the Coordinator of the security component for the Elections.

2. DIG Egbunike is saddled with the responsibility of overseeing the implementation of the Operation Order evolved from the Election Security Threat Assessment, to ensure a peaceful environment devoid of violence and conducive enough to guarantee that law abiding citizens freely perform their civic responsibilities without molestation or intimidation. DIG Egbunike will be assisted by the DIG in-charge of Operations, Acting DIG Zaki Ahmed. Other Strategic Commanders deployed to Anambra State include five (5) Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGs), fourteen (14) Commissioners of Police (CPs), thirty-one (31) Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) and forty-eight (48) Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs). The Senior Officers are to coordinate human and other operational deployments in the three (3) Senatorial Districts, twenty-one (21) Local Government Areas and the 5720 polling units in Anambra State.

3. The IGP reassures the nation that the Force is adequately prepared for the Gubernatorial Elections in Anambra State come November 6th, 2021. He reiterates that the Force will do everything within its powers to work with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and all stakeholders to protect democratic values, provide level playing field for all political actors, ensure adequate protection of voters, INEC personnel and equipment, accredited observers and other key players in Anambra State.

4. The IGP calls on citizens in Anambra State to come out en masse and exercise their franchise as adequate security has been emplaced to protect them before, during and after the elections.
