Professor sha no be degree. It is an academic accomplishment nevertheless. It shows you are not just a doctor of philosophy in a particular field but you have written enough academic materials to have professed your knowledge in that field

Soludo changed Nigeria's banking system and strengthened it. He stopped that issue of banks going bankrupt and disappearing with people's savings.

Sanusi destroyed Nigeria's stock exchange, people lost billions that year. He sent so many people to the yonder.

Please take time and read about Soludo's banking reforms, its not like the stupid policies today Emefiele is dishing out everyday.

Soludo is a genius, don't hate him, hate his destiny that made him to be great at young age. We have few of his kind in Nigeria and beyond

Do you know anything about banking?

Hope we will do well, history has shown that lecturers especially professors are just talkers and can't do the work. He maybe good in theory but not practical.

I will observe his deeds in office kindly, especially his financial and economic policies. As well as how well he will implement these policies.

That's true...to some extent! But you have to look at the character....the mien of the individual lecturer concerned and not lace all of them in the same pigeon-hole! I've noticed Soludo has a confident as well as stubborn streak about him, and is one who likes to practicalise his theories! So this shows he will likely be a departure from the norm.

Charles Soludo was born to win.

He graduated from UNN as a first class graduate of Economics.

He was destined to win.

He deserves to be Nigeria's President if not for Nigerians and their sheer nepotism, wickedness and hatred for good things.

Some people are born to win, Charles Soludo is one of them.

The name Charles is a great name though

You're spot on! The bigots that would work in front and behind the scenes to prevent a Soludo presidency, are the very same individuals that would push forward a Buhari, Tinubu or Orji Uzor kalu for the position! Bigotry, hate and greed doesn't allow one to think straight!

Soludo was a failure as a CBN governor.

Aside being corrupt, he lied to Nigeria that consolidation would not make banks to go bankrupt again. But today we know how many banks that have collapsed after consolidation.

Even when he was in office, banks like Oceanic, Intercontinental, Afribank were already distressed, it took the ingenuity of Sanusi to rescue the depositors of these banks.

Prof. Chukwuma Soludo will eventually become the first democratically elected Igbo President since Azikiwe after his tenure as Anambra governor. The man is loaded intellectually and all sections of the country have taken a liking to him.

Bros, you have to understand there are some from certain other ethnic groups that are not comfortable with such a intelligent and independent-minded Igbo like Prof Soludo! They would much prefer characters like Orji Uzor Kalu or Rochas! Muoghalu suffers the same 'handicap' as well!

Yes he championed the consolidation of the banking sector but failed to exercise control and implementation of banking best practices. The banks were like beautiful buildings awaiting collapse under Soludo. The banking sector suffered anarchy as many banks extended loans and other credit instruments without following due process. The banks had been weakened by the accumulation of non performing loans given to the likes of dangote, otedola etc at the expense of peoples money. They looked good on the outside but were actually at the brink of collapse. Sanusi had to sink tax payers money to the banks (as loans), to save these bank. Where is Oceanic, intercontinental bank etc today. Their problems were going on under Soludo era as he was sweeping the gross mismanagement and corruption in the banking sector under the carpet. Wasn't he aware of the non performing loans threating the financial sector?
And with the stocks, are you forgetting that was directly connected to the global financial crisis and not limited to Nigeria?

An Igbo man has every reason to boast.. On the race with others, he was given 200 litres of Pms whereas other got 10,000, 5000 and 1000 litres yet he out ran so many of them

Today, Anambra state students in Anambra or anywhere is expected to score the highest score to gain admission into unity schools in Nigeria... That should tell you how he has out ran every race with 200 litres of Pms that new hurdles had to be invented for him otherwise he will leave them light years behind

Tell me why such a genius shouldn't boast

If they insult their parents like you want us to believe they won't be doing well as to dominate schooling in Nigeria.. The two don't go together

It is never well with those who insult their parents.. Why is it then well with them that they moved from war crisis to needing pokciies to stop them from dominating Nigeria

If this was all about his interview, then journalism in this country is poor.

This interview is devoid of many things that people want to hear.

People want to hear why he is most qualified to handle that position,

What promise he is making to people who voted him and ndi Anambra

What difference he is going to make

And what are his expectations for the state once he assumes office....

Very very poor journalist.
