My younger brother is just too forgetful for my liking and worst of all his mind is not always stable he is easily carried away ,he may do somethings the right way today,but tomorrow he will do the total opposite of the same thing and it's very annoying,you can send him on an errand to go get pepper and he will come back with maggi,he can be smart when doing things today but will do the same thing in a dull and clumsy way tomorrow,he is just mentally unstable and i think it is dangerous to even himself is this a medical or spiritual condition.

Truth is there could be a genius ability trapped inside of him that is fighting to take dominance over the opposite.

I remembered during my school days when a lecturer will be dictating and I'll be jotting down, I would make sure that I grap everything the lecturer said, but at the end of the lecture I would go back home to read what I wrote and I will finds errors and would be like wtf? How manage I write those jaggons ? Even in my exams.

It happened to me lots of time until I was told by a lecturer that the reason is because my brain was faster than my fingers could contend, also that our brains are the fastest information element in the universe, even faster than the speed of light.

This might be the case of ur brother, he's brain could be way more faster than his actions which is the reason why he act smart today and tomorrow he doesn't.

Ur brother is special if it was to be in a saner country because he's type is the kind that need quite environment to concentrate and bring out he's genius.

Give it time bro, love him, pray for him and support him in every possible way u can as a big brother. I believe the intelligence in him will come out victoriously.

Take him to a Hospital and get him checked out for hypothyroidism and Vitamin B12 deficiency. I wouldn't rule out Alzheimer's either. People who are diagnosed of Alzheimer's later in life sometimes begin experiencing symptoms in their 20s but they're often overlooked.

I can relate to how your brother behaves. Some times, his mind is constantly pre occupied with much thoughts. It happens to me also. People complain about it when I relate with them. I assure you it's nothing spiritual. Probably he's an introverted fellow that doesn't talk much. He is constantly occupied with personal thoughts and these thoughts tend to control his actions all the time. Sometimes he might not be in the mood to run errands or stuff but out of compulsion he has to do it and often forgets some details of the instructions.its not a good habit. I'm also trying to unlearn this bad trait.

It is called mental illness, not spiritual problem.

Your brother is old enough to realize if there is indeed something mentally not right with him so why not ask him directly why it is that one moment he is fine the next he is off?

It may just be that your brother is mentally sluggish, intentionally, or he could be experiencing memory/focus related issues, but the boy has to reveal what is going on in his own mind for you or anyone to really know it.

It you are that concerned about him, talk to him and observe him for a while longer making sure to keep your personal delusions far away from him. And or Make an appointment for him to see a mental health counselor to find out if there is anything to be concerned about and go from there.

I will read well enough before exam but my mind will totally go blank while in the exam hall.
