This is the point I was making yesterday. Ole did not coach the team to be aggresive but to be reactive, bunker and wait for individual brilliance moments. Sometimes the players bail him out but most time he just gets dominated and from 10th minute he is already checking time for when the suffering will finish as evidenced from vs Liverpool and City this season.

To play the aggresive system requires training and planning, you cannot just decide that on Wednesday we will play aggresive when you havent been training for it. Some times even Klopp and Pep when they sign players it takes several months or a season for the player to buy fully into that plan

Any attempt to try play aggresive and have Ronaldo chasing shadows is just abuse. Read below the Michael owen commentary I was referring to yesterday

Carrick actually knows something. I'm seeing better organization from his team from the match yesterday than I saw from Ole's for a long time. The number of times they moved the ball with quick one touch passes, even though Chelsea managed to get the ball each time eventually, but that shows he is capable of drilling his team in such a way they can move the ball without thinking. And when they mark the ball, the initiative of moving Fred further up, and getting Matic into the game with McTominay to work for him, I start to suspect Ole might be a blockhead that doesn't take advice from his staff.

I suspect Carrick will probably takeover from Ragnick or something. He's shown signs of a good coach, and I've only watched one match. Ole being here for 3 years without any clear way of playing will always be weird to me.
