Only a court of law can temper with the recommendations of the EndSars Panel and not a kangaroo White Paper Committee.

and if everybody they do the wrong thing from beginning and someone stand up some day to tell you that what you are doing is not legalized or has a legal backing why should you say the person is lieing. And what is white paper? It's just an exrration of the original copy to be presented to the fg. Why would the Lagos State government make their own input of what has been presented to them.... It's simple means that they are not confidence of the same panel they single handling set up. If the panel report had gone in their favour you won't hear them lament or reject the report. Same government who ones said no military was present at the toll gate, no bullet was fired, it was thugs in military uniform that shot that the youths, common be wise. This government nah scam and as long as they have no human feeling you need not to defend them.

This man used to be my hero when I was in University (in addition to Chief Gani Fawehinmi). But in recent times, his desperation to make his son Falz relevant and his desperation to validate his positions (faulty or otherwise) have made him to throw all caution to the winds.

To all intents and purposes, Chief Femi Falana is a quack now and an object of laughter from so many who used to respect him and even venerate him before.

The same man saying White Papers are not known to law has in the past pressed many governments to implement White Papers. When it suits him White papers are okay and MUST be implemented but when his reputation and his son’s reputation are now on the line, White Papers are no longer known to law. Read some of the articles below and one cannot help but realise that Chief Gani Fawehinmi must be turning in his grave seeing the pseudo-activist that his once protégé has become:

Understand what he is saying, a white paper is a mere administrative tool for conveying the decision of a panel or government body. It cannot be used to vary or tamper with the actual decision it is meant to convey. A white paper committee cannot also stand in an appellate position to alter or refute what the recommendations of the panel set up by the authority constitutionally empowered to do so.

@the bold, unless the panel is set up to produce a pre-determined outcome, a panel constituting authority should ordinarily be bound by and implement the outcomes/recommendations of the panel it set up. Unfortunately, Nigeria is a country where laws/principles are applied based on the whims of the ruling bloc. The same way you are happy to say a quasi-judicial panel is not a court of law is the same way a white paper is not known to law and does not have the requisite power to counter or alter the recommendations of a properly constituted panel. All concerned persons should challenge what they will in a competent court of law but please hide your hypocrisy sometimes.
Besides, how many times does the Nigerian government even obey valid court pronouncements especially when not in its favour? You should be more concerned about the system and institutions that are not able to function freely rather keep enabling the truncation of same system due to political support and considerations.
