Update from SIGGY .ng

A katsina state varsity graduate identified as Idris Muhammed has wowed Nigerian after he invented a motorcycle that works on electricity, Siggy reports.

The graduate from Al Qalam University in Katsina state, has now become an internet sensation for his remarkable two-wheeled innovation.

The bike is said to be able to run for long when fully charged.

Abubakar B. who shared the story on his LinkedIn account said the bike has a top speed of 50km per hour adding that when fully charged, the electric bike can run for an estimated 3 hours.

In a photo shared by him, Idris could be seen seated on his blue-colored electric bike which appears to be made for only its rider.

Nigerians have taken to the comment section of the post to comment and hail Idris for the innovation. Although some persons have voiced out their opinion in the matter.

One of them identified as Isiaq Sodiq Olamilekan wrote: “Well I am not surprised, lot of people have created similar innovation only to be funded by a foreigner… who will fund this project.”

Another, Daniel Bekederemo also said: “Nigeria is a bundle of talent that’s tied up and locked away by bad leadership. What a great work from this fellow “.
