No hate
But I just don't like this guy
He looks dirty for a start
At least he should buy our interest in his looks first, meanwhile starting this music career with an online beef is stupid of him
He looks like he is on very cheap drugs, uncultured, uncouth. He needs a scub with metal sponge, using detergent.

Poco lee is a user, how can you claim his song Zazu and have the owner of the song featured? They’ve been taking him around the states for free shows all in the name of promotion still yet 3k dolly wey wizkid spray am, you collect am give am 600 dolly, just cus you dey promote the boy no mean say make you use the guy na haba

You people don’t think. Do you think it was poco lee himself that ate the remaining $2,400 or do you not know they have a whole team? They all came together and put this guy on. They’ve given him free promotion worth millions and payed for all his logistics (hotel, travel etc.)

now because of common 1.2 million naira the boy loses all his senses and goes on instegram to rubbish his helper and It makes sense to you like that? Don’t you know you have to pay your dues in this industry before you become a boss? You don’t know what Wizzy himself saw in Banky W’s hands before he was strong enough to stand on his own? For the first 3 years or so he was collecting less than 30% of the total money he was making for EME

There is a process to this game and unwritten rules that everyone knows. But this boy is just too stupid and entitled to understand. I hope they give him back the full $3k and throw him back on the streets. Let’s see how long before he returns broke and begging for their help again. Nonsense.

Comments on this thread best capture why the political class will always ride on the masses. Portable is not out of line in any way. His approach may be crude as he is perceived to be uneducated and rough but there is no denying that Poco Lee has been milking him.

Poco Lee's name comes first while Portable and Olamide are regarded as featured acts in the song. This is not a common mistake but a well calculated attempt at profiting off someone considered to be unenlightened, ignorant and uneducated. The song was done with by Portable and Olamide but Poco Lee's name found its way to the track name. He is neither a DJ, nor an executive producer.

Royalties, awards, recognitions, and other accolades the song will get in the nearest future will all go to Poco Lee because the track name suggests he owns the song but Portable is the one getting the recognition.

The Nigerian music industry might be a 'dog eat dog' affair but this is unprecedented. The Dollar issue is of no concern to me but Poco Lee is definitely not helping this Sango act. Unfortunately, he will be kicked back to where he crawled out from but this whole charade gives an idea into how label owners and industry helpers lift artists to their doom—they make the money while they leave the fame to the artists and even control how much the artists take home.

Modified. I am relieved that there are still reasonable people like you in the country. The comments I was reading above was already making me sad at the level of reasoning of people in this country who see nothing wrong in fraud and robbery, and see it as an abomination for a downtrodden to demand for his rights.

You made some valid points about the reality of the industry but communication is key. You can't shave a man's head in his absence. Full disclosure is very important in business and that's one thing a lot of people lack which leaves room for assumptions and escalations. It's as simple as 'Hey, it's obvious in the video that Wiz sprayed you $3k but your share is $600 for the following reasons' and you are covered if it becomes an issue later.

Communication is very important. Let these artistes know how much you are spending on them so they don't start running their mouth later or worse, some won't even say anything but they see you as a thief and user. There should be full disclosure.

Let's speak the truth , people saying this guy is ungrateful are senseless and criminal just like Poco lee , this guy portable is right , his intellectual property is being tampered here , why would Poco lee upload the song on streaming website as his song it's wrong and to make matter worse he should have given the song proper title portable x olamide featuring Poco lee , money way dey spray am you collect am 3k you just gave him 600k it's not good not even up to 1000 dollars , make una reason this matter

You are wrong. Kpgbagidi was not around when he did the viddp. And he has been chased out of the village kogbagidi lodge him

Pls read again:

Kogbagidi is not his manager but a show promoter who has been taking around shows. I believe he wouldn't have cried out if he had a manager or a representative. He had none. There was no structure to the 'help' rendered by Poco Lee and it was glaring that he was out to take advantage of an uneducated street boy who does not understand what contract means...

Is So unfortunate you are just jumping around claiming to be a musician without understanding first the concept of music, and then the show business of it.
If Poco lee's name came first it simply means Poco lee is the owner of the song thereby ft olamide and portable that is theft.
I pray make person nor thief any of your song that time you go know cocoa-yam and yam nor be the same even though yam dey both.
The guy has every right to protect his intellectual property which ever way he chooses to, all I see here is "extortion and oppression" so unfortunate our law does not function so well here many artist would have done some years and pay in cash huge sum" by then their eyes go clear. You know the story of lilwayne and birdman?

As for me

The three of them own the song right

They can. Place it on any of their streaming platform

Poco Lee was fast to upload it on his audiomack

Portable self never even get audiomack acc see how stupid he is

Olamide no send dat song on a real he did it for portable that just it

The thing is Poco Lee should either edit the name to Portable X olamide x pocolee instead of the way he did it Poco Lee x portable x olamide .

Or he delete it totally and for the 3k uSd na there you go I ow say portable self no get sense hahaha

He does not know that every body in d team is suppose to share the funds that is being sprayed on him ....wat does he tink the people taking care of his progress gonna eat ....

Na e sabi if he like make he bite the finger that feeds him after all his music is not the type that last ...to the listener ear

Thank you bro your head de there ...many people don't understand entertainment business at all

The only mistake Poco Lee did was to wrongly title the song title he placed on his audiomack

Normally the three recording arrist ownd right to publish on their platform

Portable no even. Get audiomack acc ...olamide don't need dat garbage to be in his catalogue of song online

Poco Lee was d first to place it on his audiomack so dat fans can see where to stream the jam

Infact their tram were slow to open audiomack for portable they were all.over IG and Tiktok posting leg work dance ...

They still have lot of work to do with that portable dude to reset his brain but am not sure kogbagidi go work wit am again ....Dem go shenck am

"Reacting to Portable’s outburst, Kogbagidi shared a video on his Instagram page, where he was questioning Portable for calling out Poco Lee.

He captioned the picture, “Unruly and unprofessional conduct is always expected from upcomings . You never can tell what goes on in their mind or head. I’m shocked and embarrassed at this point. Do I need to fix your career and your head at the same time?”(sic)

Poco Lee, however, has not commented on the ongoing drama as he simply shared some pictures on his page with the caption, ‘Hmmm’."

When you give a blind man a space in front of your house so he can beg for alms, does that give you the right to steal from him? If while trying to steal from the blind man, he caught your hands and cried for help, do you blame the blind man for treating his 'helper' unfairly by crying out while his money is being stolen? Poco Lee is the 'helper', Portable is the blind man. Be the judge.

Another angle to your blind man analogy:
What if the blind man was not stationed in front of your house but you were actually driving the blind man around to places where he could get help, lodging him, feeding him, incurring other debts in the process?
I still think this issue is all about being upfront with full disclosure.

Firstly what gibberish is this song trending for... Downloaded it and deleted it 30secs later I didn't even listen past 2mins of the track.

Secondly the portable guy was robbed
... Pocolee name came first and even got the first verse. I remember even telling my wife, omo pocolee Don drop jam oh ".

All in all, portable should always remembee the saying about a humble beginning. He let the money get to him so quickly, well am not suprised by that because I don't see any talents in the trio, so it's a case of eat what you can quickly
