Ok here is another item you need if you want to be a videographer.

3. Microphone:
I don’t mean those ones you use in church or mosque to sing praise and worship. I am talking of a good mic for recording audio when you are holding an interview because whether you expect it or not, you are most likely going to come to a time when holding an interview is important because it adds to your video package.

When I started out I got a Panasonic shotgun mic. Its a very effective mic for recording at events. I have used it and still use it. This is what it looks like

I could use it for interviews at any event and it picks very good audio despite noise from your surrounding. You can also use it for skits and vox pop videos. It was gotten from Lagos Island but its very much available in Oshodi Arena for less than 15k.

There is also a cheap lapel mic which I use now....

Oh ok. None of them have image stabilization. Although there are smaller cameras which do but might not be best for professional work.

I ordered a handheld stabilizer from Amazon. Heavy like kilode. But gets the job done. Although I will hope to upgrade to the DJI Ronin in the nearest future.

The one I got is about 30k or so. Neewer handheld stabilizer [s][/s]

if it wasn't possible I would not have set that duration, trust me.
Video editing is actually not as difficult as you think. Once you know the right tools to learn na carry go. Then your skills will sharpen more when you practise often.

4. Led Light

I am supposed to place this one at number 2 sef. But all the same it is equally important. One thing you should note is that immediately you enter under the roof of any building, the sun is cut off and this means you have to use light. That is where the LED light comes in.
When I say LED don’t think I am referring to the big ones you see that they use to act movies in Nollywood. I am talking about the small ones you can fix on the top of your camera and move around with. You need it for any indoor shoot, whether it is a wedding or corporate event.

For starters, I suggest you get the Neewer 160 LED CN. I was doing ijebu and I got one that is similar to it and the nob for regulating light broke off inside. But the one I use at the office which is the Neewer brand still kampe.

Its about 15k also at Oshodi Arena and Lagos Island.
It really gives a lot of light when shooting. The subject might even complain that this small thing won blind im eye.

It is generally not easy to organise an online training here in Nigeria considering data charges, but as discussed before, create a telegram group and let interested pple join the group. You can post short videos in low quality to the group while members can then ask questions pertaining to the video (training) and any other questions.
You can also schedule a day or two days per week for this purpose.
You can also make reference to some YouTube links (videos).
Most of what I learnt about premiere pro is from YouTube. Thanks

Need some help to figure things out. So, from time to time I have to download videos from youtube and I used to just add ss to the url but after trying 123convert.to I clearly see the difference in quality. Why is it happening? And if I download videos both ways, edit them and upload to youtube again, will the quality be equal or not?

No it isnt. But I might try working on it this year. I however still do one on one trainings.
