Pastor Bakare 4.5 billion naira loan that later accrued to 9 billion naira shows that those who criticize the government are not better and have no solution or idea on how to govern.

Looking at the picture of the building, the cathedral does not worth a billion naira let alone 4.5 billion, which means the money could have been diverted for other purpose. While criticizing Oyedepo on private jet show off, he made it know that he ones bought a private jet

Is it polite for a bank to loan a church when businesses are ignored?

Issue of anybody that want to rule Nigeria can never be treated as a private issue, he was a former vice presidential candidate and still involve in politics so it is a public matter.

You know he cannot criticize openly if he is a businessman for fear of government.

Why should a bank loan money to a church(a charity organisation)

i mean he would use himself as an example of creating employment. Is just like oyedepo, people listen to him because of his legacy in education.

OP, go and sit down!
This issue is not only unnecessary but it lacks a debatable angle.

Pastor Bakre is not a politician, he is not saddled with the responsibilities of administration, he owes no one any explanation as to why he borrowed money.

Have you ever asked why Sheik Gumi who is an advocate for bandits and killer herders why he has not opened a foundation for them at all.

The bank will always loan any Enterprise that is more likely to pay back. Mega Churches are more likely to pay back than business start-up. It is only a foolish bank manager that gives money to business start-up.
Bank are not meant to be emotional.
Besides nobody talked about the bank loaning a particular monarch in the west billions but you know because it is a church, let us attack them.

The most interesting part in your comment is that he shouldn't comment over what is above his income level lipsrsealed
That's funny.
Global Cital.... name change was to 'fit' physical status change, now I gerrit.
Latter Rain Assembly was a more biblical/ Pentecostal nomenclatures for a living church, that wouldn't need any #4.5b to attracts God's holy Spirit to rest and abide with believers there.
Now see what #4.5b borrowing and fleshly name change to suit the 'new physical status' of a church is causing?

As rightly said, let big man dialogue with big man,am not sure God who inspired the first name Latter Rain Assembly is the same that inspired this Global Community or Village something, man can confuse them selves but not God.
Consistency is a nature with God most of we followers must practice

It is nobody's business and neither is it a crime to borrow from banks.

That this is even an issue is a testament to the ignorance and illiteracy of the average Nigerian.
It is even more outrageous that the OP is comparing a private citizen with the government.

If the banks need their money back, they know what to do.

Almost every corner in every state of this trap hole, you'll either find a shopping mall or a church somewhere and guess what? This two entities is there to do but just one thing, take from the masses while one under pays her staff and the other uses work for God as an example so people can overlook what they should necessarily charge I.e either offering or no offering this men survive through the people (there's a rule in Robert Greene book that talks about being needed, that's how you measure your worth).

Since the world is going digital and our schools are not offering what it should, how many better equipped ICT academies can you find around you? I mean an academy where people are taught robotics, a school owned by a private individual? Google is looking today at offering digital certificates that can enable you work anywhere in the world. Imagine a 33 year old owning the whole of facebook, Instagram and whatsapp, how smarter is he than many every other Nigerian but this is a young man who grew in a society where tech is valued.

Our churches daily talk about how to make babies and see a man and a woman being married without kids as a sin, they put pressure on those ones who's yet to dulge into the marriage contraption who later are filled with regrets of being forced to make wrong choices they can't speak up cause the society won't let them, it's not the government that is controlling the people but religious places, that is why you find politicians first at places of worship. Tua!
