Every sports athlete is often faced with massive pressure in living up to expectations, while some embrace both the pressure and attention and ended up living up to their potential some simply fade away into mediocrity.

Many youngsters have had to deal with injuries or psychological issues which causes their career to take a nosedive, while sometimes they fail to handle the pressure from both the media and fans who overestimated their abilities.

But with the names we have on this list about the much talked about youngsters who have truly lived up to their potentials and still growing at a level expected of them, we can unanimously say they're living up to the fans and media expectations.

Football's Top 8 Youngsters Living Up To Their Hype

Ansu Fati - (Barcelona)

Electric pace, supreme killer instinct in front of goal, and the skills to influence play for his team are some of the qualities that stand the young Fati out amongst his fellow youngsters in world football.

Before Fati was marked out as the obvious star to replace club legend Lionel Messi, the Spaniard has already been showing the qualities of a superstar in the making with his brilliant and commendable performances for the Calatan club even with Messi on the pitch.

An injury to his knee suffered in November hindered his progressive form, but before he was sidelined he was largely Barcelona's best play with the baton of responsibility seemingly on his shoulder.

Though he's not got to the level of Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe, or even Haaland the young Barcelona star is gradually building a name for himself and living up to the fan's expectations.

Eduardo Camavinga - (Real Madrid)

In 2018 Camavinga became Renne's youngest ever professional footballer for the club at the age of 16, and since then he went on to lay claim to a starting eleven in the team playing regularly in Ligue 1.

With his impressive and commendable performance for the French club, Real Madrid continue to be reported as his likeliest destination though there is a lot of clubs showing interest in signing the talented midfielder dubbed the next Makelele.

In 2021, Real Madrid announced Camavinga had signed a contract until 2027 from Rennes having been on their radar for a while.

With life at the Santiago, Bernabeu Camavinga is learning from the trio of Kross, Modric, and Casemiro who had been the club's most consistent midfield partners in the last decade and has fitted into the team pretty well.

Gonzalez Pedri - (Barcelona)

Barcelona only needed to see Pedri play just three games of senior football before making move to sign the youngster who was told by Real Madrid he was not good enough to make it at the Santiago Bernabeu.

It came as a huge surprise for every Barcelona with the way the youngster Pedri dubbed the new 'Iniesta' has taken to life in Camp Nou, following his €5m move from Las Palmas in the Segunda Division.

Pedri seemingly started his Barcelona career with impressive performances, and he further up the ante at the Euro 2020 for Spain where he shone like a million stars against some of the finest football stars in world football.

With his career on the upward trajectory at Barcelona, there's a lot of hope at Camp Nou that the young Pedri will go on to build a great reputation for himself.
