The Federal Government has disclosed that the subsidy of fuel will last for another 18months, pending when an amendment in the Petroleum Industry Act will be forwarded to the National Assembly.

Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Timipre Sylva gave this indication on Tuesday while briefing State House Correspondents in Abuja.

According to Sylva, President Muhammadu Buhari being aware of the negative implications of total subsidy removal has graciously approved that the time frame be extended, to allow the government put necessary palliatives in place.

He said already, the rehabilitation of the refineries are ongoing, while Dangote refinery is almost coming on stream.

DAILY POST recalls that in the last few weeks there has been apprehension over the government’s proposed plans to remove subsidy.

Nigerians had raised an alarm that the proposed removal could possibly lead to the increase in petrol pump prices to about N302 per litre.

I have a 4-year old son.I will rather trade him instead of allowing him suffer .

I will never allow hunger or hardship to come near him.If I can get a good bargain,I will trade him and reproduce another one .

I need job still in case I can't achieve this .I am depressed I must tell you .Things are beginning to hit me because I am so broke and can't get job or assistance.

I am not used to this type of shit .Imagine the boy was asking me money for biscuit this morning and I was telling him I will get it for him when he is back from school!!

TRUE LIFE STORY

Curfew was declared while some guys went to watch match and met soldiers on their way back.

The soldiers decided to flog them according to the numbers on their
clothes/jerseys.

The First guy was putting on Nigeria Peter Rufai jersey No 1 , he was given a stroke .

The second guy was wearing chelsea
jersey 12 Mikel Obi, He was flogged 12 strokes.

The third man was wearing 50cent, He was flogged 50 strokes.

In the process, the fourth man started crying from afar...

Guess what? He was wearing vote Tinubu for president 2023.
