Even Honda is confused as to what it is. But people love it for what it is, whatever that is.
It is more of a wagon than crossover SUV. It doesn't have very good ground clearance like most crossover suv, but better than a sedan.
Look at this way:
SUV - crossover - crosstour - Sedan
