BREAKING: PDP floors APC to win Kuje chairmanship election in Abuja

The PDP won in all the 10 wards in the area council.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Suleman Sabo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) the winner of the February 12 Kuje Area Council chairmanship election in the Federal Capital Territory.

Mr Sabo, the council’s incumbent chairman who will now serve his second term in office, defeated the other five candidates in each of the 10 wards in the area council.

He gathered a total of 13,301 votes to defeat his closest rival, Sarki Hamidu of the All Progressive Congress (APC), who secured 7,694 votes to emerge second.

By this, the PDP candidate defeated the APC with a total margin of 5,607 votes.

Sule Magaji, the INEC Returning Officer for the Kuje Area Council election, announced the final results on Sunday morning.

Where are Buhari, Osinbajo, Amaechi, Buni and the other fools that are planning to stop Tinubu's project? This was an election in your own backyard, you Abuja politicians still lost. You are all shameless.

Come and do a similar election for a Council in Lagos and see if PDP will get 100 votes.

Under his watch, his political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lost gubernatorial elections in Bayelsa(now twice), Oyo State, Edo State, Zamfara state and Anambra states.

Suleiman sabo of kuje lga is one of the best politician in Nigeria bleep party lines, even apc would want him in their party. He is a epitome of what public service should be like. Ive had the opportunity of meeting and knowing him personally and as the only elected pDp official in abuja he's doin well for both himself and his party. Watch out for this man when pdp takes power back.
