Of course your sponsor must write a sponsor's letter/ introduction letter.

Sadineandbread:

The thing is , if I use self sponsor , won’t they ask me to show the sources of income ? And I can’t prove it

Anyway the fact that insignificantly few people like you considered me arrogant for being blunt or brutally honest doesn't make it true, but I don't have to argue. I am only here to help people not to seek help. You that is not arrogant, how has that worked for you in your bid to travel to Estonia? So I will say hatred deprived people of progress in life. My point back then still remains that it is evil to take advantage of people and telling lies to people because something didn't work for you is bad and also try as much as possible to go through the tread before asking questions, that was all I said. So sister stop hating and free yourself from bondages so that you can move ahead in life, my gush! That was 6 years ago and you are still stuck in the past? Unbelievable!
You idiot. U stucked in Estonia for years. Check my profile. I've gone beyond Estonia. Insignificant? Your existence is Insignificant to me neither. U r arrogant period. Can't believe u wrote about 100 words to an Insignificant person. Estonia SMH. Hotel management SMH. Hahaha. I laugh so hard. Baby boy, I've moved passed Estonia and I've been in a better country whose minimum wage is way above 6 euro per hour. Chai! What would I use 6 euros for? Apologies to other reasonable people on this thread. Estonia should only be a stepping stone for you all. U will all go to better places from Estonia. Amen
NB you not here to help people but to lure them to your you tube channel so u can make money off them. You only know how to take but can't guve. Stop the disguise. Your 2012 set has moved far. U came back after 6 years to extort the ignorance here. U couldn't make money cos of your pride. Keeping being blunt mumu, oniranu

Omg, See bitterness o . May God heal your soul and give you peace. Probably you should mention where you moved to. I saw you on UK thread too, still asking questions about how to relocate there. And not everyone in Estonia earns €6/hr, get some education.
2012 ke, I got to Estonia in 2016 August . And so funny you accused me of extortion, that's mundane! If you have friends in Estonia ask them about me, how I usually fight for them and organising events with my money just to put Africa on a good pedestal. So telling people to subscribe to my channel is extortion? What planet are you from again?
You really dey para for me gan o, you saying someone is arrogant is using course words in a public forum. I really wish to know you in person at least your picture. Better help yourself and get some love in you, your husband is really trying, hmmmm. It is well with you and I love you as a human being but this will be my last conversation with you because you don't worth it, bye bye

Which ever route you wish to use, you have to be able to proof your source of income. I think that the main thing that you need to do now is try to connect with people that recently arrived Estonia on how they proved their source of income successfully.

Of course yes

Good evening all, I had 3.38 CGPA ( second class lower division)for my bsc. I want to seek admission into Taltech, but one of the requirements is that applicants must have 60% of the total CGPA. And in some parts of the application it’s stating that applicants must have second class (upper division). Please people that have applied, can you please shed more lights? Because it’s kinda confusing right now.

Awaiting your response(s) earnestly.

If only u took your time to go thru my posts, u will know I'm on living in uk thread and not uk student visa. Werey. I asked about au pair. U can't know au pair cos u live in a shithole. Anyways, I actually live in UK . So face your Estonia 6 euros per hour. Hahahha.
I remember in 2016 u fought with everyone on the thread shortly after getting your visa. I dm'ed u in 2019 and your reply saddened me. U told me you wouldn't have anything to do with nairaland and u r not the right person to ask. You carried 2012 grudges to 2016 yet u have d effontery to call me bitter. Fake motivational speaker. Pratice what u preach. Your wife must really be trying. You equate arrogance to being blunt. SMH. Thank u for taking your time to go thru my posts eventhough u did a poor job by not properly going thru it and concluded I'm asking questions on UK thread. Yoruba boy wey no get sense.

This was you in 2016. Over 10 people accused you of being an arrogant opportunist. I sent a dm to u thinking u were misunderstood. Alas, I got the shock of my life. Your post here was just a child's play to how u responded to me. I would have posted it but I deleted it immediately. So, I'm your nemesis.

I think for TTU they are particular about the second class upper division. That 60% is for other countries I believe. Since Nigeria uses second class upper division format, it think that should be considered. You should look for other schools or do another bachelor's degree.

Heads up people,

Permit me to share my own cent to aspiring students here. Please as you are applying for school or work, etc. Have one thing at the back of your minds, Estonia is not a country that you can live forever and or probably a country that is worth settling down in. I say this because it all depends on your situations and circumstances.

As an illustration I know people here who has bought their own apartments, cars is not even a big deal here it's your choice if you think it's important for you to buy a car.

Your mindset will determine how far you will advance in life no matter what country you are. There are people in Nigeria who are millionaires, there are people in UK, USA and even Canada who are living from hands to mouth.

Preparation is everything, courage, willingness to improve yourself, your skills and all works so massively in Europe. Because there are lots of room for self improvement here.

Though some clueless people might view Estonia as a "shit hole country" but here, people are making over #1million equivalent by doing just 8 hours per day job. I for example is earning nothing less than €8 per hour here in this "shit hole country" and my average work hours is 170 hours. Transportation is free, family apartment is between €450-€550 per month, food is around €50-€100 per month.

I have family in UK and I was told that most of our people who are not professionals earns between £8-£12/hour, but the cost of living there is so enormous.

By God's grace I have been used to pay people's school fees, insurance policy and even flight ticket to Estonia and I am not bragging about it just trying to encourage people, my wedding was top notch in 2019 to the glory of God.

I have met a lot of nairalanders in Estonia, we have done cool stuffs together, we have laughed about the issues we had few years ago and embraced each other in love but I understand that people like @icesnow still chose to dwell in the past while every other person has faced their lives and are progressing well in life. And I pray that anyone who chose the part of evil and waiting for your downfall with never make it in life! Unless they decide to change their ways.

The whole idea about this Estonia things is that compared to other countries, it cost less to process.

So don't let anyone discourage you, ignore haters because God will surely reward them accordingly, pray and seek God's face before embarking on your lives journey. It shall be well.

2. why did you choose estonia and why this particular course

3. why didn't you use school hostel ? ( i told her i don't like it )

4. what is your plan after your studies ?

5. how many countries have you been to?

6. have you been rejected schenghen visa before ( i said yes portugal )

7. when was that ? ( i told her i don't remember the year )

8. my relationship with my sponsor

9. she asked how will i be able to support myself if my sponsor refuse ( i told her i will take part job )

apart from the 2nd question which i gave a very long answer, the rest just one word answer

i did my finger print and stayed in Hotel in Abu dhabi for 4 days , then i receive mail that my visa was granted

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FAQ

1. i am doing BSC ( the interview process and funds needed are mostly the same )

2. Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania don't care about your age if you are going for BSC ( i am age 29 - 31 ) . one my coursemate is a 40 year old man

JOB
there is no job in Estonia except you are very good in I.T, companies would sponsor you to school if you are very good in I.T

apart from I.T the only job available are delivery, uber and plate washing in restaurant ... you earn an average of 30-40 euro per day

if you have the money you can buy your own Uber car and be driving, it's much more better and you can make around 1500 euro monthly. just come with your Nigeria drivers license then you convert .. there is no job in Estonia but nothing is impossible

RENT

if you want to stay in hostel you will be paying around 200 euro monthly with utilities .. it's not bad at all

if you are looking to live outside the hostel please be ready to be frustrated, once you call landlord and they see you are a student, they stop picking your call, some will not pick your call again once they see you are black..

be ready to pay like 3 months rent upfront, you might be lucky, nothing is impossible

FOOD

food here is dirt cheap except you are looking for African food which is very very expensive ...

OVERVIEW ...

apart from the housing experience, there is nothing negative to say about Estonian, most are very nice ( but blunt ), job is not readily available but a lot of I.T opportunities, you also have access to other EU countries. it is very cold here, you only see sun 3 months out of 12 months. it's going to be hard at first believe me, weather can be depressing but you will get use to it as times goes on. also be ready for a lot of assignment, no matter the school you are going in Estonia, they gives assignment for fund and assume you know most things.

there are 3 major language in Estonia... English, Russian and Estonia language .. young adults speak English and Russia while the old speaks Estonian language , it can be frustrating because Russian speakers plenty pass English speakers ... Transportation is free in Tallinn via city bus

you can work 24/7 with your TRP in Estonia as long as you don't score below 51% in school, if you score below 51% you will be deported ( long story but the short version is you will be deported ). you can't bring your family if you are on BSC but you can bring your family after a year if you are on masters , you can bring your family immediately if you are on Phd.

you can't bring beef, milk or any dairy product into Estonia ( they seized my ponmon and beef at the immigration grin )

of course all i typed is based on my experience and others around me here, please don't take it as rule ...

Looking at the admission requirements for Tallinn University of Technology, I observed that there's proof of English (ielts, toefl e.tc) and another Gre general test (prerequisite for masters programme). Does that mean one have to present both ielts academics and gre general test results or just ielts is enough....please I'll appreciate Urgent response...thanks alot
