You could at least explain the little you know about MDXi, let a layman know what he (Sanwo-Olu) launched to the public.
Let's see this 5 years from now. Fingers crossed

You are not half as intelligent as you believed yourself to be. So, as a project was launched, the readers don't deserve to know what exactly was launched, even in its tiniest detail but should rather consult Google search engine.
Typical uncouth youngling is what you are; Just quick to lash out without even connecting your brain to your thumbs first.
I'm not here to exchange words with you, I'm just trying to enlighten you more on how to make use of that internet. Take advantage of it - do a Google search for whatever you’d like to learn about, and take the time to read articles / opinions that you don’t necessary agree with! It might open your mind to other viewpoints that you might not have considered. Thank you.

Beautiful. People in the South East, see we can never have investments like this.
We think we're pushing an agenda by sitting at home and destroying government facilities, not knowing we're scaring investors away. No sensible company would want to invest in a place with fickle minded and butthurt individuals
By the time we're balls deep in this mess, it'd be mission failed successfully.
And what is your obsession with the south east? Why not mention NE, SS, NC, NW, ekiti, Osun and the rest?
Seems you are a tribalist.

Hmmm

The information on this MD xi Data Center is incomplete, please.
We know what data can do but OP that is bringing this news is so feign that:
- where can people get this information?
- where is it located and the address?
- what are the necessary instruments you need to tap into it or do you just run into this kind of Forum without diligent information on what the government is doing?
Na wa for modern day reporters or maybe we use the photos of the event!
We still commend the governor for his pro-activeness

Is it the sit at home that made Dangote not to have any investment in SE even though Igbos patronize him more than any tribe in Nigeria?
When did the sit at home start?
Is it the sit at home that made your government not to construct any rail in SE?

You should know that what's happening to Igbos is beyond sit at home.
There's secret plan toake make sure SE remains on the floor but God is faithful.

Lagos is a country in a country!!!

It’s not a country in a country. It’s fortunate to draw a large pool of population due to the high commercial nature of the city

Instead of you to use your phone wisely, you have Google on your phone, if you see anything that's not clear to you, you search the thing online. This will not cost you anything, what did you want to see 5 years from now?? Something that have been in existence for a long period of time here in Nigeria and the whole West Africa at large. You better learn, you will not die.
That's the kind of very low life without brain we Unfutunately share country with, imagine he's even saying they will see in the next 5year grin , I wonder what he meant by that but I'm sure it's not a good thing. Always yarning for bad things to happen, evil people.

This is a private company initiative not Lagos state government, main_one has been in existence since the time of Fashola and not too long ago their was an acquisition of the company by a foreign telcom giant Equinix

Main one was originally owned by that black woman you see in the picture Funke Opeke and they laid and own a fibre optic cable that runs from Lagos to Europe, I think Portugal. The company have been expanding even beyond the shore of Nigeria to some west African countries and upto South Africa providing hardwired data solutions.

They can run fibre optic to Lisbon but cannot run one to Oniru. Mumu compini

Even if Southeast was not enmeshed with insecurities, we still wouldn’t compete with Lagos. Lagos is the commercial nerve centre of West-Africa. Lagos is hugely benefitting from Nigeria’s huge population.
Port Harcourt ought to have been the nerve centre of the eastern region as Lagos is to western region and by extension West Africa but they lost all that due to myopic thinking. If
You check the master plan of Michael Okpara, you’d be amaze the how much plan they put in the Aba-Portharcourt precinct. Port Harcourt would have given Lagos a stiff competition because not only would she be a huge commercial centre, oil wealth would have made her a lot richer than Lagos. People would migrate to the garden-city as a first choice before considering Lagos. But we’ve lost all that to greed and ethnic insecurities

80% of those that comments on this forum are children and 90% are trabalist in their comments, hence they find it difficult to comprehend any post.
MDXi is wholly a private sector company, a subsidiary of Mainone as the parent company. MainOne was recently acquired by Equinix.
This is not Lagos State government project, in fact, the data centre has been existing since 2005, it's located along Abraham Adesayan Road, Ajah. It's the place where my company host their servers, I have been there for couple of times. Anyone that work in tech companies or in any tech department of a big companies knows MainOne. There are about three major data centres in Lagos, (MDXi, Rack Centre and MTN), and non of them is own by Lagos State nor any government.

These Data centres and any other companies chooses to site their location in Lagos because of the industrialisation of Lagos not because of what Lagos State is doing differently from other States. Don't expect for example a data centre to be build in Uyo, when the market that will consume it is readily available in Lagos.
For layman, data centre is a place where company host their servers, which are meant to run 24/7 x 365. So if this data centres are sited out of Lagos where 90% of the head office of the big companies that will consumed it are located, how are they going to get their target markets?

This is more like a private investment but Sanwo was invited to commission it. That's good FDI for Lagos.

The way Hamzat is following Sanwo, it's looking like he's not ready to be relegated to the position of ordinary deputy governor. Let's wait and see if he would contest against the governor.

Jagaban Borgu will decide that.

So you patronise Dangote more than any other tribe yet you would claim Dangote is making money because he is oppressing Ibeto.
