AHEAD of the 2023 Presidential election, the eldest son of late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola, acclaimed winner of the June 12 presidential election, Kola Abiola has declared to contest for the most exalted position in the country under the platform of the People’s Redemption Party, PRP.

According to him yesterday at the PRP National Secretariat, Kola Abiola said “Today makes my formal inroad after 27 years back into politics, just as he said that the only party that could give the youth such opportunity to make their number count was the PRP.

“I particularly picked to come back into politics through the PRP for some good reasons.

“I have gone back to the history of Nigeria to look at the party that truly represents Nigeria. I have gone back and I have found out that the oldest living party is the PRP, it still holds those ideals of what Nigeria and democratic practice should be like.

It is a party that was started by the people and truly for the people. It is a party that has shown first, as its priority, internal democracy.

“I have come back to PRP to show Nigerians that not too long ago, we did things in the right way and the new entities that have come together nowadays forget that there was Nigeria that did things right.“

Kola Abiola will spend a lot of money on this presidential bid, with lots of people flocking over to get their share, BUT, his inherited wealth cannot measure up to the staggering fortune amassed by Tinubu over a lifetime of embezzlement, land grabbing, and tax revenue diversion that dates back to his tenure as governor of Lagos State and continues to this day.

In a battle where money is the primary weapon, Bola "The Shit" Tinubu would easily defeat Kola Abiola in a bid to become Nigeria's president, despite all the goodwill that Kola has inherited from his late father MKO Abiola.

Buhari has so lowered the bar that every Tom, dick and Harry now believes that they can do better than Buhari if given the opportunity to become the president of Nigeria

angry

Power isn't always hereditary.

Don't disgrace yourself or tarnish your father's legacy...

Very few like Bukola Saraki surpassed their Dad. Even he eventually didn't have the longevity of Olusola, the dad.

Very spitting image of his father. I initially thought that the above pic was that of Moshood himself.

That will amount to stupidity on his path. He had rather enjoyed the fortunes his father left for them than blow it to the wind in a rat race. Come to think of it, this guy has not been a good money manager, neither has he got any business brain or enterprise management skill, what has he been able to do with the fortune his father left behind, nothing, now he wants to manage the resources of a whole nation, is he crazy or something?
