It's a daunting task..

Osinbajo is loved by the people and TInubu is loved by the power brokers.
I don't see Osinbajo winning the primary without Tinubu stepping aside and supporting him. Tinubu has to many political foot soldiers that has been on his payroll since time immemorial. And they cut across regions.

I wish the aim of he meeting is to call on Tinubu to step aside and let Osinbajo contest. Basically in health reasons.

I guess you got it wrong with your assumption, Lagos apc guys have been childish and rude in the way they take Osinbajos' déclaration, imagine an ordinary party spokeman, made some threat and allegation to the personality of a seating VP and no punishment has been taken against him, this is just a setup to embarrass the VP. The leader who can fix Nigeria can also be the best Politicians. One thing most Nigerians do not understand is that a President who gets on well with his political peers, and commands their respects, gets more done for ordinary Nigerians in every sector.

A President disliked by his political peers will face resistance and be frustrated. Saraki did precisely that to Buhari in PMB's first term to the detriment of Nigeria and Nigerians.

Osoba, at best, is ambivalent to Tinubu depending on the day and the contest. He made efforts to seriously strengthen SDP in 2014 to take Ogun State away from then ACN.

What all these guys have in common is the passion to see the Presidency come to the SW. There is a desire to ensure we don't snatch defeat from the jaw of victory. Rightly so because we have done it in the past to our own regret and stagnation.

The aim of the conference is to get aspirants talking to see if cordiality can accommodate compromise and unity of purpose because a house divided will fall. Simple as that. Scaremongering with the name of Tinubu is juvenile.
