They borrow people money without collateral nor with the knowledge of the borrowers ability to pay back. And then put ridiculous interest rate, which must most times be paid back under one week.
Both borrower and lender has the fault if any one defaults
Their repayment time is where all these problems originated from.... You can loan someone money and expect them to payback in a week or max of 2 weeks with ridiculous interest.... You'll always have problems.

Worse if you default for just a day, they go gangster on you

They are springing into action for what?

Where were they when these loan companies were helping people during the pandemic?

If they had done something or come to the aid of people when they needed financial assistance, these loan companies wouldn't have thrived and no body would have minded them. But now they are harassing those who even offered to help and saved majority from dying of hunger that period.

Mumu action. Not like they have the interest of the people at heart. They are only after personal gains. Shior!
Lie... they only took advantage of the had period and ensnare people in their shark loans ... how do loan someone money for 6 days with almost 50% interest ... Most people that will take take will definitely not be able to pay back...

That is very good , I support this development, loan app must be regulated most of these loan apps are not even registered with government, they don't even pay tax ,if they must operate they must register Pay tax, interest has to be realistic if not let them shut down, we won't accept loan sharks milking and taking advantage of the economic situation in Nigeria to put Nigerians in more hardship

Why borrow when you can't pay.

Yes... Nigerians don't like paying dept. Loan apps are helpful but make them no dey over do. Instead they should ask of lite collateral
Re: FG Clamps Down On Online Money Lenders Over Breach Of Customer's Rights by Nobody: 8:24pm On Jun 01, 2022
The problem with borrowers in Nigeria with no intent of paying back is that they fail to realize that their credit record has been messed up, they may not really know the effect until they become someone better in life tomorrow and need loan for urgent business in a better bank. Then they would realize how they have spoilt their own record. Keep on borrowing and don’t pay back. Keep up your evil work, karma will catch up on you all someday.

Poverty is not just a disease, it’s a state of the mind.

Some Nigerians would always remain poor no matter what

Debtors will be happy now.

Tho they(online lenders) can be annoying with the way they disturb their debtor's contacts which is wrong, but people should learn to respect agreements and pay back their loans.
Some agreements are inimical to human dignity, social justice and are unconditional

Which help help did the shylock loan sharks render during
Lock down?
When they lend you 10k for 7 and ask you to 14k, even during lockdown when there was no business.
Not all agreements are lawfully.
How can you send a message to people telling them that your customer, the borrower is a fugitive?
