Ekiti State Governor and APC Presidential Aspirant, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has congratulated former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emergence as Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 general election.

Dr. Fayemi also congratulated the party leadership and the convention planning committee for the successful conduct of the special convention and presidential primary, as well as President Muhammadu Buhari for superintending over a free, fair, and credible process as national leader of the party

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Yinka Oyebode, Dr. Fayemi said Asiwaju Tinubu’s emergence represents the collective wish of the vast majority of members of the APC, adding that the former Lagos State Governor has proven his dedication and competence to lead the country at such an important time in history.

Dr. Fayemi who stepped down and endorsed Tinubu at the convention, described the APC flagbearer as a "long distance runner", who has the capacity to lead the country to greater heights come 2023.

"It is a great moment for our party. I congratulate Asiwaju Tinubu for the well deserved victory and the leadership of the party as well as the convention committee members for a great job.

"Collectively, we shall move from this convention venue with greater determination to strengthen the party and work assiduously for the success of the party in the 2023 elections."

Some likely political casualties of Tinubu's presidency if he eventually gets elected:

- Dr. Kayode Fayemi in spite of stepping down will lose his control of APC structure after 2023 election in Ekiti State. Unless, he gets back one of the senatorial ticket quickly now, his political career is up in the air.

- Sen. Ibikunle Amosun political career is up in the air because post 2023, Sen. Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) will step up to control APC structure in Ogun State as a prelude to becoming the Governor in 2027.

- Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola's political career is dead unless miracle of forgiveness happens.

Why won't he congratulate the Jagaban? Truth be told, if I am asked to choose one man to learn the ART OF POLITICS from, it will be BOLA AHMED TINUBU�. Leave all sentiments aside, I will gladly sit at the feet of Bola because he is a POLITICAL MAESTRO cum JUGGERNAUT. Omoooo, with his shaky hands and unsteady feet, the man got "around" 50% of the APC aspirants to step down for him. He beat the Northern Cabal to it's game and wearied out the APC National Chairman..."Tinubu 101" should hanceforth be studied as a course in all Political Science Departments across Nigeria. It is imperative we study a man who has survived so long, moving from NADECO to founding the ACN to Co-founding the APC and now becoming a Presidential Candidate�.

They've taught our VP a bitter lesson in politics. I'm not sure he won any State in South West.

By the results it's now clear that 12governors actually signed Tinubu's form. That was a warning signal to Osinbajo, instead of beating a retreat he started doing propaganda that 14governors signed his own form. So where are the 14governors? He finished distant 3rd. Very embarrassing!

By the way the a anointed candidate of Adamu Abdulahi came distant 4th. Lol.......dem collect wotowoto.

Tinubu's base is the low income, low education segment of the south west, and that constitutes a significant segment of the population of a country like Nigeria. If we want a change our focus is to create a movement that will be carried by the poor and uneducated that are the majority.

One thing I know about the igbos is that they are not "diplomatic"about their stance. They told Buhari they'd not vote for him and they kept their word.
Tinubu can't get votes from the igbos even in Lagos let alone the SE.
The stubbornness na follow come.
Tinubu can only get Igbo votes by rigging
