H.E. Atiku has lost it already. He jettisoned the committee's report to do his bidding showing how he will choose to work without input from others especially other arms of government.

H.E. Okowa betrayed other southern governors to become VP. He will also be betrayed. Rivers will vote PDP as governor but will split their votes for APC and Labour Party for the presidential seat.

The Southern governors' forum declaration will stand. To overcome this, he would had been picked H.E. Wike as VP. Gov Wike has been the backbone of PDP supporting all court cases and also stoutly opposing the federal government.

He will be silent now and concentrate on how to win his home state for governor.

Wrong assertion! Atiku got it right. The south south has got more advantage over the south East due to insecurity, population and others. Wike that can cost Atiku lots of votes in the North.

Rivers is a strong ground. PDP has lost atleast 5 Million votes across all south south states by this action.

The bulk of the votes that brought Okowa to power was not political popularity but Apathy from major tribes in Delta that said they wanted his side to rule for ethnic balancing which he betrayed on the way out on the state level. And is now betraying on the federal level too

Okowa can never win south east or south south votes over Peter Obi. Never.

It is a case of the stars aligning for Obi to win by confusing the others to make errors. Tinub will make a VP error. As Atiku has done

Atiku just made the greatest political blunder in his political career. Udom Donald Duke are there, he went to pick who is popular as a traitor. You folks don't know how SS hates betrayal. He isn't winning jack. Not even the votes in Delta state

I congratulate Peter Obi and all Ndigbo worldwide. The election is Obi's own to lose

So do u expect Atiku to pick his VP from SW or the North?
Remember he needs someone for the post of VP before his nomination can be accepted by INEC

We are SS. And we hate betrayal. We expect Atiku to pick anyone but not Okowa. Mind you, I hail from his side. We will vote Obi. He is a traitor. And we don't betray in the SS

Atiku has made the right decision.
A ss Igbo is a goal for him.
Apart from obi other ss and se people will vote pdp.
Atiku is also quite detribalised.
Theivenubu is the worst presidential candidate ever in Nigeria.

Theivenubu aka agbado and cassava

ABUBAKAR ATIKU & IFEANYI OKOWA are an unbeatable combination!

It is a stroke of genius by the PDP not to further weaken their party by choosing a troublemaker as Atiku's running mate. Atiku has played his politics very well and no zone can say Atiku denied them the right to produce the PDP candidate.

Abubakar Atiku has also demonstrated that he is a true Nigerian that is desirous of uniting the entire country and stemming the slide into a conflict that has been steadily brewing for about 3 - 4 years now.

PDP must now demand a free and fair electoral process from INEC. Else, INEC will still do what they did in 2019 to change the collated results and refuse to open their sources to a transparent inquiry.

PDP ignored the SE zone to choose someone from the SS and you said a vote for Obi is a wasted vote?

If I am from the SE, I will rather vote Obi and waste the vote than vote for Atiku who clearly showed our region is not important to him.

SE’ners should come out massively next year to vote Peter Obi as a statement to the rest of the country that the Igbos should not be taken for granted.

Yes, Okowa is Ibo and from South south. That way, Atiku can get votes from both regions. Atiku will win NE and get substantial votes in NW and NC.

He calculated properly... Since Igbos with their scanty vote will likely vote Obi, no point picking a South Eastern Governor. South South are divided, and will be the battle ground, a serving governor will do him a great favour. Atiku stand a great chance with the South South since they have a bigger voting block compared to the South East. Let's look at the figures of 2019.

These are registered voters so far(People wey get PVC)
South-South has 12,841,279 registered voters
North-Central has 13,366,070 registered voters
South-East has 10,057,130 registered voters
South-West 16,292,212 registered voters.
North-West has 20,158,100 registered voters
North-East has 11,289, 293 registered voters.

Five other regions apart from the South East that has aligned with OBI are up for grab. The real battle ground will be the South West and North West with the APCs. Depending on who emerged as Tinubu's running mate the likely winners will depend on the northern votes.

Tinubu needs a Northern candidates that will outwit Abubakar. But I just pray Tinubu won't be disqualified by constitutional breach by not meeting the deadlines of submitting his running mate's name... PDP can explore this lapses right now, by going to court.

Thank you Atiku for making the chances of Peter Obi even brighter. Now we can be sure of getting Rivers votes, with Wike out of the ticket completely.
I am a PDP member, but in 2023, I am not voting party but individuals, and the individuals that will get my votes are those who have demonstrated their capacity to do a better job in getting our constituencies, states and country out of the woods.
OBI has already proven himself so, he is my presidential candidate, now I will scout for others.
And for those who are saying that Labour party has no presence in several states, we must prove to them that the choice of the people is the most important presence needed to win an election, and not structures.

Okowa is OK but Atiku/Okowa presidency won't bring disruptive positive change!

Only Obi-dient presidency would guarantee disruptive positive change and that's why Peter Obi is what Nigeria needs at a time like this!

Lol @op, you are sounding naive. Rivers people may not even support wike as you think. The truth is that the Ijaws dislikes wike who is an Ikwerre man. If you understand Rivers State politics, you will understand why wike was insulting Ijaws traditional rulers the other day. Wike would have been a terrible choice, Ijaws as the majority tribe in the south south would not give him their support. The igbos in the south south will not give him their support talk more of south east itself. The north hates he guts more than anything else. Truth is Wike has become a laughing stock and a lonely man for stepping into so many toes. The only thing that will save him now is for him to flee away from this country else what is coming to him will be worst than what happened to Joshua Dariye of plateau state and John Nyame of Taraba.

Meanwhile Peter Obi for president 2023 by the grace of God!

Know this and know peace!
