Yes, I uploaded documents. I went to the selected bank, they told me to wait until CBN send me approval email and then I can come to them.

I got email from CBN following day that they have initiated my process and they have put my application on queue.

How long does this queue ends? It's been 4 days now....

Go back to the bank branch tomorrow and ask them to validate your application. If they are forming too busy, ask to see the branch Manager . What bank did u select?

Hello gurus in the house

A friend of mine studied biochemistry and she graduated in 2018.

However, she is a make-up artist and she has been working as a make-up artist since she graduated university. Her make up business is also registered and she makes good income.

She wants to go for a post graduate course that relates to her make up business. Will the visa officer see the PG course related to make-up as a career progression?
If so, Please what schools can she apply to in Canada for a make-up/cosmetics related courses.

Thanks.

Yes she can.
Check out Simplyfissy on youtube. She's currently in Durham College for a cosmetic related course.

Note that I'm not sure if she studied Biochemistry but she was able to explain why she was going for the course et al.

Goodluck.

Hello,

You will have to get your GCMS note to have a full picture of the refusal reasons. What you have on your note is generic.

But you may do well to furnish the forum your POF, home ties and establishment capacity for better understanding. That's amount shown, any unexplained lumpsum, tuition expenses, home ties
shown and level of establishments in Nigeria.

Getting the GCMS note sometimes take a very long time.
Also, my uncle is my sponsor and at the point the POF in his account was about 12million. From what you said I think I would need to increase the amount and also his account gets a steady in flow in millions.

Please also advice if I can include my previous SOP and explanation of the correction they requested I made as my LOE.

Hold up. What were the type of documents you submitted? And was your program a 1 year or 2 year program ?

Show Young:
The secret is to disturb them. Make unpleasant comments on social media especially on Twitter about their service and how they are about to jeopardize your future ambition as there is a deadline for the payment: after unrelenting tries, they'll reach out to you either through phone call or by DM: they must answer.

Amidst "no FX from the CBN," they are still disbursing to some few who can disturb or have a kind of influence.

It's a pleasure. That is the way it goes.

To others who are experiencing delay in processing Form A. Kindly emulate this man.

Disturbance is the language they understand.

Hello everyone, I’m new to this forum. I applied for student visa mid March and i did my biometry on the 28th of March, I didn’t hear anything nor received any mail from them until today and when I checked, i saw a medical request from the IRCC. Just want to confirm if that is such a positive result and a step forward. As i said earlier I’m really new to this and don’t know much so I’ll appreciate your kind reply, thanks.

Why not, since you are an RA and actively in research you are eligible to apply for a thesis-based Masters at a Canadian University (DLI) that offers PGWP (POST GRADUATE WORK PERMIT), but before you do that, against 2023, look for professors (google) in your field of study or related field whose Research Areas aligns with your Research Interests and cold mail him/her, if a Prof. finds you fit for his/her research lab and accepts you, apply for their Thesis-based Masters. You stand a Chance of getting partial or Fully-funded if a Prof. accepts you to his/her research lab

Read more information in the link below for more guides and tips

and await some based on experience response from Fully-funded MS or PHD Students or graduates

Sam796476:
Good evening guys

I really need your opinion on this.
I was refused last month, I ordered my GCMS notes and it was said that my funds was insufficient and rightly so, it was.

Now my sponsor(father) sold a property and he's gonna receive a lump sum of 12 million Naira in his account. He has about 8.5 million Naira now plus the lumpsum it's going to be 20.5 million naira.

I have all the documents to show evidence of the sale, I'd also be adding pictures of the property that was sold. My sponsor is going to write a letter of explanation addressing this lumpsum, how the money came about and the details involving the sale of the property.
He also has a regular source of income, he earns 560,000 in a month. And he's also allowed to collect 25 percent of his pension funds which would be close to 3m

Tuition Fee is 17,000 Cad a year.
First semester tuition has already been paid. Sponsor (Father)is also going to write in the letter of sponsorship that once my study permit has been granted, he'd make the payment of my tuition balance. He doesn't want to pay the tuition balance until the study permit has been granted.

I'd like to know if I can proceed with submitting my application.
Your responses would be appreciated. Thank you all.

Anyone please?

It means IRCC is actively working on your application.. you would receive an email but when you check there are no messages.
