I fear lagos will be quite violent during the elections.

Lagos has always been 45/55 thereabout in favor of Tinubu during presidential elections (at least in the past 2 cycles), and Tinubu was never on the ballot.

Now Tinubu himself is on the ballot (deservedly), so he should ordinarily be able to gather more. Unfortunately opposing interest towards his own candidacy is a lot more than that of the candidates he supported in the past.

He (and every other Tinubu supporter) understands that Labor is his greatest opposition in Lagos as it stands. A sizeable population of the youths in Nigeria are in Lagos, and loads of them across tribes are rooting for PO. A sizeable population of non-youths in Lagos are not Yorubas, and loads of them do not like Tinubu. The likely Muslim Muslim ticket too will gravitate a lot of undecided southerners (both Muslims and Christians) away from him.

Knowing all these, the man may go rogue and put in everything including life and death to ensure he wins Lagos because if Tinubu is mistakenly beaten in Lagos in 2023, his dynasty has collapsed I can tell you that for free.
