2023: Who says an Igbo man can’t be president – Pastor Enenche blasts APC, PDP

Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Center on Tuesday, lambasted Nigerian politicians and leaders of major political parties for denying Southerners tickets for the 2023 presidential elections.

Speaking during the healing and deliverance service at the church’s headquarters, Glory Dome Abuja on Tuesday, the fiery gospel preacher lamented how ethnic and religious groups are being marginalized in the country.

The clergyman claimed major political parties, including the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC should have zoned the presidency to the South-east to calm the ongoing agitation for secession.

He said, “When president Olusegun Obasanjo came into power in 1999 the two political parties decided to present candidates from the South-West. There were South-West Christians so it was narrowed down.

“At this time now, let me ask a question, what is wrong if it was narrowed down to Southeast? I am asking out loud. People Who have felt so marginalized and oppressed for a long time.

“Why can’t they be sensible and say let south-east produce presidency so that the parties give tickets to candidates from the region?

“Who says that such cannot calm down the agitation in that area and also give that region some sense of belonging?.

“Who says that an Easterner can not be a president of Nigeria. What did they do? What is their offence? Who said it? Where was the law made from? never for once.

“Those who have had presidency many times are still clamouring to come. That is to say, there is a group of people that are not humans. Such useless things are happening in various states of the country and Jehovah is arresting the situation.

“I say it with authority, there is no part of this country that is stronger or better than the other. And I can tell you in both capacity and wisdom if the same people have been ruling and everything is degenerating why can’t you try other people and see whether things will not change? whether things will not be better. Jehovah will change it by force. He will change the narrative by force”.

Peter Obi ticks all the boxes.

If you are for fairness and equity, then it's Peter Obi.
If you are for brilliance, then it's Peter Obi
If you are persuaded by quality experience, then it's Peter Obi, tested and trusted.
If you are for a non controversial candidate with solid background, then it's Peter Obi.
If you are for hope, then surely it's Peter Obi.

Atiku is good, Tinubu is better, but Peter Obi is the best for the future of this country.

Because they are not accommodating, they are not united, they don't respect their elders, they have been given the position of the third citizen of the country and we know what they did.
Also, they are always angry.

The truth is that Nigeria is a fraudulent contraption. It is not built to uphold justice, fairness and equity, so not even the NTA, which preaches it every day, upholds those virtues.

recently realized that life is full of lies and deciet. But can never deceive itself. People pretends, just learnt to be myself, face myself, remain myself, work and focus on what I believe in even when people see me as a time waster. Never to give up because they will talk you down and when you give in, you will be laughed

WHY IGBO CANNOT BE PRESIDENT

1.THEIR POLITICIANS CANNOT COMPETE WITH OTHER POLITICIANS FROM EACH POLITICAL ZONES.

2. THEY DON'T BUILD BRIDGES ACROSS THE NATION.

3. THEY BELIEVE WITHOUT HAUSA AND FULANI'S SUPPORT THEY'RE NOTHING IN TERMS OF POLITICS REASON WHY MANY OF THEIR POLITICIANS DO STEPS DOWN FOR NORTHERNERS IN EVERY ELECTION.

4. THEY'RE STILL LEARNING NIGERIAN POLITICS FROM THE YORUBAS

5. POLITICS IS NOT IN THEIR CULTURE

We cannot continue to deny the truth for too long.
Anyone who is honest & claims to believe in Equity, Justice & One Nigeria knows that the Presidency should be zoned to SE.

The Pastor should tell us who is stopping Igbo candidates from contesting.

GoooodHardDick:
Exactly my Question!

Why can't Nigerians look beyond tribe and ethnicity and vote a competent man for once. It beats my imagination how people will see a very active and vibrant man like OBI and then decide to support an Old cargo like Tinubu and Atiku just because of tribalism, nawa oooo.
Can you list out the legacies of Peter Obi? I want to see the reason you are saying Peter Obi is better than the man who have legacies such as the Lekki Free Trade Zone, Eko Atlantic City, Lekki deepsea port, BRT etc.

technicallyrich:

But according to you, claiming ijaw, you said all tribes hate igbos.
But here is s tiv man not an unknown bmc guy.
Reinstating his love for the igbos and south easterners.
I'm ijaw and I'm voting for the American, European and Asian standard president.
I m not voting for a theivve, triballist, liar, cunning,Stark illiterates, most corrupt man in the world, wanted cocaine dealer and a bastard that don't know his father's house.

Who are you? How can you be this bitter because of my comment?

Can you show me when I said Ijaws hate Igbos?

Support who ever you like, is none of my business, this is democracy, we all have this freedom.

I am supporting Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a man who worked for companies like Delloite, GTE Services Corporation, Arthur Andersen etc

Here in Nigeria, he worked for Mobil, he resigned and join Politics, he became a senator and a Governor, now, he is a Presidential candidate and by God grace, he will win the election next year.

Some of his legacies as a Governor can still be point at in Lagos today. The Lekki Free Trade Zone, Lekki Deepsea Port, Eko Atlantic City, BRT etc This is some of the achievement of the person you are bitter about.

I hope you won't give yourself High Blood Pressure because of Tinubu and Parachoko wey no know if you dey exist or not.

I'm an Ijaw Man, and my vote is for The Jargaban Borgu

And don't forget to screenshot my post and show me where I stated that All Tribe's Hate Igbos.

The Pastor has the right to his opinion even though he is wrong. He can't defend some of the statements he made on the pulpit. PDP and AD didn't microzone to the South West. There is no time power has been microzone in Nigeria.

On Bola Ahmed Tinubu Mandate I Stand Gidigba

*The issue of Religious Bigotry did not start from the North* . Let's go back to 1962, when a Northern Muslim, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa registered Nigeria as a member of the World Council of Churches and International Bible Society in 1963, no complain from the Muslim North. Saturday was a working day in Nigeria until 1973, Gowon, a Christian minority from the North declared it a work free day, to enable the Seventh Day Adventist Church to worship, no complain from the Muslim North.
In February 1979, Olusegun Obasanjo denied Ahmed Deedat, an Islamic Preacher, entry into Nigeria, no complain from the Muslim North.
In 1982 pope John Paul II was welcomed to Nigeria by a Muslim, Alhaji Shehu Shagari. Reinhart Bonke, a Christian Crusader, had a free enterance to Nigeria at will, no complain. Abacha welcomed Pope John Paul and established Papal Square along Kubwa express way, no complain from Muslims.
But in 1986 when Babangida registered Nigeria as a member of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) there was a riot in Lagos, Portharcout, Enugu, orchestrated and organised by CAN.
Pls who are the Religious Bigots?
Just recently, the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs distanced itself from all kinds of politics, but what about CAN? In 2013, a Private Jet belonging to the CAN President was intercepted in South Africa loaded with foreign currency, imagine it belonged to the Sultan?
So, let's ask ourselves who are the Religious Bigots?

Tell them ooooo.

In 1999 Igbos supported yorubas to be president. Ogbonna Onu stepped down for Olu Falae and Igbo delegates voted for Obasanjo even when Yorubas rejected him.

Igbos also supported and voted Musa Yaradua even when Ojukwu and others were on the ballot.

Igbos Also voted and supported Goodluck Jonathan in 2011.

Now its time to zone to south east, it becomes a serious problem for other regions Igbos have supported.
