(Kindly note the starred, the following being part of the form I'm to fill and return)

"Protect the tangible and intangible property of (the company) from damage and give notice immediately (or its authorised representatives) of any damage of such property which may come to your knowledge

*"As a volunteer, your relationship with (company) will *not* be one of employer and employee or principal and agent. You will *not* be entitled to receive remuneration and/or benefits that an employee may be entitled to receive.*

"You must not incur any liability on behalf of (company) or purport to enter into any contract which would be binding (to the company), without the express approval of (company).

"After you have completed your voluntary services we will provide you with a letter of recommendation for future employers."

Me writing now: and there is NDA (and company property) hinted, I'll be given to sign after my acceptance.

Every other part of the offer sounds right but my thoughts are on the paragraphs quoted above:

As a " Volunteer/Intern" shouldn't one expect to get even data, where they said not to expect "employer treatment", shouldn't I expect to hope for *numeration/stipend* as a volunteer?

Context:

i) Company is UK based;

ii) this would be my first official "work" as a Developer still learning, on react now,;

iii) I strongly feel I should take the offer and learn as well, besides currently only practicing, if anything financial comes out of it that'd be a bonus...

Guys, what do think, before I shot myself in the foot?

Volunteer like you will not be paid. If you wont be paid don't do it. How will you buy data and fuel?

Material design it may be.


But notice how contents and navabr intercept each other on scroll.

I believe that's wasn't done on purpose.


Maybe the designer didn't know how to position the elements lol.
