How one person who can occupy a fraction of space at a time monopolizes the politics and material resources of Lagos State, with enlightened people in abundance, for decades could pass as an eight wonder of the world. Many Lagosians, so busy running helter-skelter in traffic to and from work, emboldened this person much to try replicating same all over Nigeria.

Today, some Lagosians remain remorseless, raise prayer points in Churches and Mosques, whisper their frustration to friends and acquaintances, then retreat to inaction again. Their indetermination to nip this person in the bud brought us to this point of Muslim/Muslim presidential ticket contemplation in a tensed nation, a move with prospects of returning us to civil war and ending Nigeria.

Sadly, there is no strong opposition party in Lagos. PDP is mistaking this pressing task for play in the sand; other political parties are near lifeless. I imagine the state's number one citizen relaxing in his office undisturbed, enveloped with glee. I hoped former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode would rise to the occasion in 2023 under another party and rewrite history. This time, courageously, I hope Lagosians would in unison end this authoritarianism that threatens their present, future and now, Nigeria's existence. Rome can fall. Wake up!

Hmm mm ... how I wish I understand the obsession of yeeboos with afonja matters. Can't each region face the problems they have and channel all their energies into solving such

I'm not a BAT supporters but the way yeebos discuss other people''s region leaves much to be desired. You guys need to learn that politics is about negotiations and not by fighting others of poke nosing into their affairs

Obviously the OP is an Igbo guy. No one stops you from supporting OBi but he should spend more of his energy to discuss the development of his potopoto region than Lagos

Placing tribalism ahead of issues, again. Pitiable! That's why Nigeria is in coma now.

CC: Lalasticlala. PDP Ademola Adeleke's victory today shows Lagosians can challenge APC in Lagos and usher in a new dawn. Forwarding my article above to front page will communicate this truth to Lagosians and Nigerians at large. Thank you.
