This would forever haunt Ex-President GEJ . It was complete leadership failure on his part as a President and a father of the nation ; may we never experience such kind of incompetent leadership again.

That he actually could believe that children kidnap was a rumour or political gimmick is unimaginable , cringeworthy , unbelievable and those who gave that preliminary report to him need to get equal amount of opprobrium in posterity whenever this sad event is recounted.

The closest worst form of leadership to it was UK's Boris Johnson's Partygate scandal where parties were being held while the citizens were burying their loved ones daily due to covid-19 pandemic.

HE GEJ was the lowest point we ever got to in terms of leadership; it was a complete breakdown of leadership and my guess is that those who accused him of drinking too much like Boris Johnson may be right.

We will not forget heroes like Sharon Ikeazor, Mrs Oby Ezekwesili etc too. Well done to all the Patriots and lovers of Nigeria who helped mount pressure of the GEJ's govt then.

So what did he say that was wrong?

Instead of rescuing the children immediately, the government was busy looking for scapegoats for the first 3 weeks.

Yall should know people and their antecedents before commenting. Are you aware that Bokoharam started during SAS tenure? Are you also aware that Shetimma was a General Manager with Zenith Bank Plc? Do you really know what Boko Haram stands for? Do you think people like Shetimma that worked for an INTEREST bank will be accepted by Boko Haram. If you don't know, ask. If you are not aware, learn. Support your candidate without discrediting others. I don't support Tinubu or Obi buh I don't insult them either. Don't play politics like our forefathers, be more matured.

You have been out competed in PMB's time because you idle away too much on Nairaland sir wink
Nobody shares free govt money during PMB's tenure except you want to end up in jail but GEJ's tenure was an all comers affair for thieves!

HE GEJ's period will hardly even notice you let alone reward your excellence..It was so horrible that to recieve your salary you worked for becomes a spiritual exercise as salaries got owed for several months!

We spend every Christmas sleeping at fuel stations with fuel scarcity and Independence with bomb blasts.
As a matter of fact, Boko Haram took substantial part of our land and declared their own country!
Any day GEJ/PEJ are on their frequent visits to Lagos we spend hours and hours in traffic amongst several horrible decision of those years of the locust which eventually made Nigerians decide that enough is enough, stealing is now corruption. Most folks taking and stealing from the country miss GEJ no doubt but it is not the fault of Nigerians for voting out GEJ, it was because he failed woefully.
Those hating on PMB because he defeated GEJ can keep wailing but Nigerians have moved on. It is a general verdict that GEJ's government was no good and had to be voted out. From Air Peace scandal in US to Arms scandal to Etetegate to PI& D scandal to oil subsidy scandal to many monumental scandals, it was complete disaster as if he went to sleep completely.

Letter to Shettima to avoid the disaster that happened in Chibok. Shettima and his APC cohorts deliberately wanted the Chibok incidents.

Shettima should tell Nigerians why he did not act on the instructions of the Federal Ministry of Education and WAEC.

Noone can deceive us with sweet talk and half-truths. Shettima, APC )including Bola Tinubu, Buhari, etc) wanted the Chibok girls to be kidnapped to paint GEJ bad, Now he wants to run on a detestable Muslim-Muslim ticket

So what is wrong with his submission here?

The reason why the girls were never recoverd at the time was because, Doctor Clueless couldn't believe that Boko Haram actually took them. He was busy playing politics, instead of mobilising troops to specifically go after the Terrorists that took the girls.

Why did Gov Shettima disobey this instruction? Is the VP slot a repayment for his "loyalty" to some APC big-wigs?

The letter said that the examination should take place at a safe location, until the abduction, Chibock was one of the safest place in Borno, not a single attack had happened there before. If the parents think the school was not safe, do you think they would allow their children to sit for the exams?

The principal of the said school was magically not in the school the day boko haram came even though he lives in d same compound.
So also was his daughter who was a classmate to the girls kidnapped.
The principal was rewarded with the post of commissioner for education soon after.

so why is the Abuja-kaduna train victims still with the kidnappers? Is it that buhari does not believe that they were been kidnap or their lives doesn't matter?

Buhari is not a saint but for a president who has faced recession, covid19 pandemic and the current global crisis caused by Ukraine- Russia war, Buhari has performed better than any president since 1999. His achievements in infrastructure, military equipments and agriculture is unmatched. We’ve also witnessed huge reforms like the Electoral act, PIB Bill, LG autonomy and lots more. Some of us are not ignorant. Facts don’t lie

GEJ cannot lace Buhari’s shoes in governance. GEJ did not have to battle Covid pandemic.
GEJ did not have to face this kind of huge challenge the Ukraine-Russia war has put the world in including Nigeria.
GEJ did not face multiple recessions.
GEJ had a booming world economy and high oil prices, no pandemic, no recession and still failed woefully as President.
Under Buhari, we’ve seen infrastructural developments that we’ve never seen.
GEJ was only known for project frauds and scams.
For the first time since it was established, NNPC made profits under Buhari.
I guess a lot of you have forgotten but some of us will never forget.

Kai!! Read letter again. Slowly. Pupils to be assembled in safe locations in state capital. Chibok is not a state capital. Shitman was aware of kidnapping. He deliberately ignored FG warning to score political points. Occupy Nigeria, Abuja bombing and Chibok kidnapping were used to blackmail Gej.
