Like someone said above, we need someone reliable to b around our project, imagine a bricklayer decided to measure 15 headpan of sand for 1 bag of cement for setting blocks contrary to 12 headpan of sand Instructed nd when confronted he refused to measure the stipulated portion claiming it's a standard until we change it for him big time nd treating to sack him before he heed to our instructions to measure 12headpan. We need to b around because these guys are foolish pple and are ready to do away with our materials if chanced.

At times when you go for cement bag counting as charges … they are ready to waste your cement I.e when a slab required 10bags of cement they will make it like 13 bags or more in other to increase there payment at the end of the daily work.
Someone need to be vigilant always.

Those side block walls should be covered with aluminum pan. Usually those people that bend the aluminum pans should be able
to use the measurements to bend the flat pans to fit exactly into the space. The goal is to make sure that the block works and
cap above the flat roof are not be exposed to water. That is a permanent way to ensure no leakage nor water soaking the walls whatsoever.

NB: if done well and channelled well, the roof will last a lifetime with no leakage problems.

You are right. It depends on the size of his build. But then each one shouldn't take a whole square meter. Don't forget that up there are not perfect squares because they start and slope down.

A competent carpenter should be able to get him a good measurement/estimate. Actually if he has two angle irons put together, they can do the measurements and bending at the site to get it right.

I moved into my build on Sunday and since then I have been issues with my mojec prepaid meter. Every house around will be having light except my building , the meter will supply electricity for minutes and go off again .


Now there's light everywhere again except my building , I went to the PHCN office nearest to me and they said it's because the current is low what is the way forward , they can't say anything reasonable .
