With a Canadian visa you do not require a transit visa to travel via Frankfurt to canada with Lufthansa. A transit visa is required only when your trip has more than one stop over

No one can determine this..

Most MPs do not respond, cos actually they attend to residents in their provinces/constituency (in Canada)..

Its only the nice ones that go all the way to attend to queries outside of Canada, prolly because the said applicant will soon be a resident in their province..

So there is no timeline on when they respond, they may and may not respond..

Because he said money doesn't stay in his account for long, rather he uses them to run projects and businesses. So he plans on sending a sum to my own account. Will I still attach his statement even if their isn't much balance in his account but he has a great inflows and outflows. Also is it necessary the money has to be in my account after application submission and also during processing. Or I can leave it their now for like a month and print out my statement then attach to my application.?

You can. In fact, it is highly recommended to attach your bank statement as well. Regarding using your dad as a sponsor, properties do not account as proof of funds; you have to submit your dad’s bank statement unless you have sufficient funds in your account.

Let me tell you mine, not general. I got it the day I submitted while my spouse got it a day after submission.

After doing my biometrics, my biometrics update now reads 'completed'. Is it the normal update after biometrics?

I was out of the country and was tied up there (offshore). Got back and sent the passport immediately but the courier guy messed it up. I mailed them anyways and they responded that my request for extension has been noted. Thanks for your response.

Well, I will advice you mail them multiple times to inform them of delay and when you’re likely sending it…

Mail embassy as well as VAC.

Your dad has most of the requirements of an ideal sponsor:
Close relative
Business
Good cash flow
Properties

So, let him be your sponsor. He can continue using the funds after you have sent in your bank statement; the bank cannot disclose beyond what is in the bank statement you sent to IRCC. Although it rarely happens, IRCC can request an updated bank statement if they suspect the account was inflated.
Have a considerable amount in your account to show you are employed, but the bulk of the funds should be in your dad’s account as the sponsor. Ensure dad doesn’t just deposit a huge amount in the month he wants to submit the statement; the cash flow has to be consistent; otherwise, the VO will question the lump sum.

If you decide to apply with your account, submit a gift deed from dad and proof of transfer.

I'm looking to apply for a 2-year diploma in NAIT next fall (Digital media and IT with concentration in Web design and development). I've recently completed my HND in mechanical engineering and I've got about 3 years of experience in the tech industry.

The program is not a post-graduate diploma.

Are there other universities or colleges with low tuition that offer a similar program or a computer science program but as a 2-year PGD within Edmonton, AB or in any other low cost province in Canada?

No single Update for over 12 weeks. after this days I started sending mails every 2 days and a good Muslim friend that I met on this forum God bless him for me, he has been helping since last year with lot of encouragement and guides, for like 3 months we haven't chatted my mind just say I should chat him ooo and give him update on my application. I told him I haven't gotten any single update on my application since I submitted and this already over 12weeks, and I have also sent series of mails and contacted my MP........The next thing he said I should continue sending mails. and he also said he will other my Gcms notes for me free and his going to use his card to pay.. I was like wow.....God bless you boss and may Almighty Allah perfect everything that concerns you. we did all these on 9th Aug. The next day early morning at 5.30 Sent another mail and this time I ensure my subject is eyes catching, then, I prayed morning prayer after. May be these 2 things triggered my application who knows.. Since I was tired of checking.. I checked in the afternoon just saw Eligibility has started I just continue with my usual prayer ooo and here today 15th Aug PPR.

What I did differently, I changed my school and my course, Master in Accounting. I did Accounting in Bsc and ND. Also work in that area. For the travel, renewed my Germany visa in January and travelled in Feberuary. My wife and I visited Dubai for 5days during the Eid-Fitr Muslim Holiday and arrived Nigeria May 5th. I explained these in my Letter of explanation. the reason for changing course and to further strengthen my travel assertions. have travelled to all these country without violating any immigration laws. All in all.. It can ONLY be GOD. Let me also add that I Just resumed another new job today ooo Double blessings....Alhamdulilah for everything.

I pray that everyone awaiting decision on their applications get Approved Bikudiratilahi Ameen. And if you have been delayed Pls don't give up, delay is not denial. Never say Never. Please don't and don't give up.

What portal will you recommend, the old portal or new one?

Find a way to move the file to your phone via USB cable. Open the documents and screen shot each one. Go to gallery and edit the screen shot to about 60 to 80 % after that merge and it should be smaller. NOTE the portal takes jpeg so no need to convert again

Hi Everyone, Please I am trying to submit my application but I am having trouble compressing my file to 4mb. Trust me I have used all kinds including ilovepdf, smallpdf, adobe, etc I have even been paying for latest versions of compressors online, yet it gets to a point where it says “ your file can no longer be compressed or reduced “

I am afraid because upon the file is not even close to 4mb , it’s already becoming invisible. I don’t want to be denied due to unclear documents. ( yes, this happened to my friend, his GCMS note read; bank statement not clear)

I intend to just upload my files separately; that’s submitting on the proof of fun section, I will then put some documents too on the FORM IMM5257 space ( I didn’t fill it, since it’s optional), and then the rest of my forms sent via webform immediately I pay and submit my application.

My brothers and sisters, is this a good step? Any better option? Has this worked for someone on this group? Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
