From the first one hour I've watched last night, so far it's really good. Great but I ain't seeing the hype Hollywood critics and audience were showering it. Around a 7.5 rating for me so far. And I know I might not like the final 1hr when the dogfights begin.

At least they've got their fighter classes right and theoretically how to embark on the mission. Na D_day execution remain.

The last 30 minutes is the best part of the film.
It pushed a 7/10 movie to a 10/10.

I like to believe that in an alternate world, the Tulsa genocide never happened.
Tulsa being the black wallstreet, becomes one of the financial hubs of american economy,
Helps the african-american to better their lives and live comparably influential lives like the jews, and also wield considerable influence in American economy and politics.

When you write a thesis just because you can't stand the notion that a dated Jet could best a next generation fighter in a hollywood movie, then you know you have issues.

The 2000s and beyond featured much more grounded military movies and did not pretend that us enemies had an incompetent and incapable military

That said its an American movie and a pro military one, so this is what we should expect. The hero kicking arse and flying off into the sunset
