I just watched the highlight... It was obviously not as bad as I thought... The fiesy goal we conceded was from a school boy error from Okoye..very clownish... The second was from a penalty.. We also created good chances that we missed... It wasn't that bad...

He's Nigerian but Nigeria is not entitled to his talent. He is being developed by another nation, they must always have that right of first refusal.
It's like a sperm donor claiming ownership of a kid he birthed instead of the foster parents who did the actual parenting and raised the child.

You're right. But Nigeria also has mad squad depth just that our local coaches and technical coaches don't have a playing pattern and don't prioritize team work and also don't prioritize crossing and set plays or set pieces.

Brazil's teamwork, set pieces and wing plays and quick football is what making them beat Ghana.

2 of Brazil's goals are from set pieces. The second goal was Richalison's first time shot, most Nigerian players won't shoot that one first time.

If we play them now, our best defensive set up would be Akpogunma at RCB, Bassey at LCB, Aina and Zaidu on the flanks... a better defensive set up than that of 2019 IMO ... Na goalkeeper be the issue

Now that I have watched the game, I am no longer so angry about the result. Okoye made a doltish error and they got a penalty.
Lucky goals.

It appears we played better than them overall, creating chances which were sadly, wasted by our forwards. We even got an identical chance to the one Okoye gifted them but our striker blew the chance. And we started the game with what is pretty much our second eleven.

BTW, Iwobi's goal was pure class.
