TokenizeAsset.com $1k via afternic. Interestingly I regd this domain in 2020. Renewed last year but failed to renew this year. Domain expired last month. Sent a mail to dynadot support and he replied I can still do a domain restore. Checked and saw the domain is still eligible to be restored at $89.99 USD which I did immediately.

Lesson here is if you believe in that domain, continue renewing.

Hello iyke have been following this thread from the first page I have some few questions to ask

1. Do I just register the domain name only do I need to consider adding some extras features like email, ddos, ssl certificate e.t.c as they attract more charges

2. If I get a buyer will the email I used in registering the domain be sent also to the buyer.

3. I noticed you have been using Dan recently can I still make use of namesilo and others

4. When registering a domain how many months is advisable to buy.

5. Can I check for an expired domain put it for sale without registering, send out some messages then register it Once I get a buyer. Does this works, the reason for this is to avoid loses.

6. Which is the recommended keyword to use to search for expired domain on expireddomain website

7. List the market places that does domain push Incase if I get a buyer before the 60 days

I got a whois request yesterday on one of my domains. Replied how may I help, that am the owner of the domain. He replied today telling me the said domain was his before and its a trademarked domain. Now requesting that I should transfer the domain back to him, if not he will take legal actions against me.

Alright. Not baffled, I explained to him that am a domain investor and I bought the domain when it was available, that I didn't steal the domain from him. I told him for me to take him serious, he have to give me reasonable offer if he wants his domain name back not this one he's telling me. He made an offer of $100. But I told him I can consider him for $500.

He replied with $400 which I accepted and warned him to be more careful next time, that he can even renew 5 years ahead to avoid something like this.

He later paid through Dan. Transaction has been closed.

Calling your end users who request for phone calls isn't a rocket science. You can. What matters is ability to establish trust, not accent.

No point marketing a domain you don't own or haven't registered. It's bad.

Don't focus on one niche, EMD or GEO. All still sells very well. Make sure to build a robust and mixed portfolio of domains. If this don't sell, another will sell. Sold the below GEO earlier this month, Dec 1st to be precise. $400. Outbounding and few follow ups. Registered the domain $7.99 June this year.

Still exploring other cities reason the full name won't be displayed.

Domaining most times requires patience and more investing. Not a get rich quick scheme though at times it happens but it's a process. Check the screenshot below.

yes it happens. One thing in domaining is that you will never lose money. Yes. Try building your portfolio up to 5 to 10 competitive domains based from the first practicals. Then if you're ready for outbounding and follow ups, contact me for fresh templates. Most of my sales comes from outbounding and follow ups. Not just registering the domain and dump it at a marketplace... Reach out to potential end users, follow up and do few price reductions.
