The good thing about Obi candidacy is that it provides the Igbos a political platform. This was my advise to them when it appears that their umbilical cord was tied to PDP. For 24 years, PDP enslaved and maltreated them. I said it then, grow a pair. Challenge the Yoruba candidate in APC. I commend them for coming forward. Even, when you lose political battle, at least lose with some dignity..

It looks like everything will assume ethnic colouration in no time.
With several comments I've read in this post, it appears the target ro ensure Tinubu is not president. I think that will jeopardise whatever strenght this is supposed to portray.
More importantly is the usual less than or over a million votes that Lagos usually return during elections. It doesn't guarantee that this effort will provide the best desired by those rallying. They will need to have a winning formula for four Geopolitical zones like in 2011 during GEJ, otherwise when another candidate win, it will look like it was rigged and pandemonium will ensue.
Let's understand the dynamics of politics that for every action there's an equal and opposite reaction. The North is watching and thinking on what to do. They may force kwankwaso to back down to have a straight fight between APC and PDP with high turn out.
The journey is still far to February.

Is it baba emilokan, baba alagbado that will not not make Nigerians hear ween? A man that has refused to lift his kleptomenic hands off Lagos treasury more than 15yrs after leaving as governor. He has been determining who becomes governor for ages now. Where is the democracy in that? Obi has been governor of Anambra and his people have great testimony about him. He lifted Anambra schools to be amongst the best in the entire country. He saved money for the state ensuring that the state has not gone bankrupt like many other states. He did many things for which his people remember him for and left the stage for others. He passed no pension law as baba did in Lagos.
Baba alagbado has been shining on the wings of Fashola and Ambode who embarked on massive infrastructural development claiming that he built Lagos as if Lagos was not already developed before he became governor.

nigerians are very good when it comes to a movement it spreads like wildfire but the key thing to be achieved is always downplayed...how many youth got the pvc. compared to those guys that easily be manipulated.
