Was the original watermarked?

The original would come in a sealed envelope and it's a printout - not watermarked

Well I’m using my own plan as case study, hopefully ircc ans me grin … well, the best thing is to do the calculations first and see which option is better . If one can get at return ticket at this cheap price u posted den it’s better to seek for pta via form A …
I will always be on watch for cheap tickets when my time comes hopefully cool .. Qatar n egyptair will be on my watchlist , midnight and early morning search for cheap ticket ..lol

Try Qatar airways .. very very very cheap as at this moment I’m writing this . Unbelievable! when others are booking close to or over 2m for return ticket , Qatar airways is presently 710k

Hi Njoku,

To be able to respond to your question you have to provide more details about your application.
1. Are you self-sponsored or you have a sponsor, if you have a sponsor how is he/she related to you?
2. Where there huge or lump sum deposits into the account you presented.
3. Have you paid your fees completely or partly?

Provide answers to these then the house can offer guidance.
Thanks for the response sir,

1) I used my father as my sponsor
2) yes, and it accumulated to 12m
3) I couldn't pay the fees as form A delayed and frustrated me.and by the time I had access to my fees and changed it to dollar, I had already missed the deadline and lost the admission. The school adviced that if my Visa application comes out positive I should reapply for January session and then pay the fees.

When it comes to assets and financial situation, your bank balance is just 1 factor. They also consider your salary, employment history, bank type, etc.

You can either try guessing what the issue is or order your GCMS notes to see the VO's comments.

Thanks for your response Positive11

Please, how do I request for the GCMS notes to see the VO's comments

Please what's the best bank to use in applying for FormA?

I used Stanbic IBTC in applying since August and till now no show.

A friend told me he saw someone in fidelity bank who applied last month and has his fees paid

If you provided the other 2 information, like I said proof that you are actually in the school and studying, I doubt they would reject, but that aside some schools have estimate living expense calculator that you can utilize, this example is from Toronto Met Uni

Banks have now revised their requirements.

Access Bank for instance expects you to have paid your school fees through the bank (Access) before they can treat your maintenance allowance request.
Also, the limit is now $1,500, two quarters in a year.

I suspect the issue will be lump sum deposit into the account, if there where you need to explain the source and back it up with documentation, as advised by Bepositive, request for your GCMS notes to know the real reasons for the refusal.

Yeah, I just looked into my sponsors account statement. There was lump sum moved over a short period.. but it was from his account to his account.. Do I have to reapply to explain? And how so I request for this gcms note?

If one got admission and the school didn’t require to deposit any tuition fees
Can one go ahead and apply for visa? Or is it compulsory to pay part of the school fees?
Please I need answers

Just to encourage someone here as i was encouraged here by someone too.

ALL HONOR TO THE MIGHTY GOD

I have been a silent Nairaland member for over eleven years and I learnt everything about visa applications. After eleven years of applying for visas to different countries and chopping breakfast left and right (including ten years of UK ban), God finally says it is my time to share my own testimony. I have a very bad immigration history with countless refusals from the UK to Italy,Germany,Ireland, and the USA, but God did it.

My first application to Canada in Feb got refused on 31st of May this year, though my SOP wasn't that good because i had thought my UK ban would affect the application, but I just wanted to try my luck, and on my GCMS note i saw that my eligibility was recommend passed before eventually got refused, and the reasons were about an unexplained lump sum and a business account, which is not true, so i felt i was a bit closed and decided to try again, and a friend helped me with a very good SOP and God showed me favour .

Application submitted -July 4
Medical Updated-Aug 25
Eligibility- Oct 17
PPR- Oct 28

Thanks to everyone here that is trying their best to help one another. I pray everyone expecting PPR gets theirs soon.
God is the greatest.

Congratulations

It's not really compulsory to pay part of the school fees, but paying part of the fees strengthens your application and somewhat proves that the funds are actually there for your use and not for demonstration purposes

You can put a simple explanation
Something like the funds were being saved over time for this purpose and was moved to the main account.
Explanation matters, no matter how negligible the issue may seem
